The time at Ocean Tribe Garden Cottage was perfect. Eldré is a great host. He was very friendly and helpful. Everything you need is available within 1 km around you. Very nice place and clean. You feel like family when you visit there.
Ideal for 2 people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Sea view is amazing and the whales passing by are breathtaking. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go again.
We were tired from driving and looked for the house a little bit. Then the owner came to the street. He received us warmly. At first I was unsure about the place. The apartment is at the back of his yard and you have your own place to hangout and braai, completely private and a nice sea view. We also had fun swimming in their pool and he even heated the water for us. The apartment has everything. Ceiling fans, air conditioning, a lovely bed, 2 TVs with a full DSTV package, a CD/DVD player, a Bluetooth speaker if you want to listen to music outside, a decent sized fridge and the winner - you own ice machine. The best 2 beaches nearby are Scottburgh 10 km and Amanzimtoti about 20 km. When you need something, the owner is immediately there to help. It is very safe with electric fences,

We just searched under "Uvongo" and noticed that B&Bs from as far away as Westville, The Bluff in Durban and the entire south coast strip were shown. The result is that we unfortunately booked in Umkomaas instead of Uvongo. Perhaps our age and modern technology have something to do with this.
Eldre is a great host! Everything needed is in the cottage! Eldre literally bends over backwards to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Ocean Tribe is a recommendation for sure! 10/10. Thank you for a very pleasant visit. Thanks, Elder!
The owner is very friendly and accommodating but does not interfere with your stay, so you have privacy. Very nice unit well decorated and spacious enough for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and the unit has an air-con. I would recommend this place.
We were so impressed with all the extra details like extra coffee, sugar and tea and even sunscreen. If you are looking for a place to just unpack and rest this is the place. Breathtaking view of the sea, dolphins and whale watching. Lovely moon shone on the sea.
