Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and modern, and the views were breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. The only thing that could have been better was the mattress - it was too hard. Other than that, it was great!

Ocean View House is short of 1 star, they deserve 5 stars! This was the best experience, with the best view and weekend we had in a long time. Can go for beach walks, near the best restaurants. Their breakfast is outstanding and their staff are so professional. We will most certainly be back!
The views were lovely, the staff was amazing and incredibly helpful, and the room was comfortable. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the ambiance of the guest house was beautiful. The staff called us taxis to go wherever we needed and were always kind. The housekeeping kept coming in while we were in the room, though, so I wish they were more flexible with the hours.
Keen to come back for a short stay.
The Ocean View House offers exceptional views of both the ocean and the 12 Apostles. It is ideally located with easy access to the best of Cape Town. The actual accommodation is superb. The rooms are beautiful, clean and have a lovely view. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There is a lovely selection of breakfast foods. It is a lovely place to come for some R&R.

You sometimes forget you are in South Africa when you experience the sea in front of you and the mountain behind you. Ocean View House's location is ideal for an excellent view as well as a good center for all activities in and around Kampsbaai.
The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast had a good selection of items. However, disappointed that nothing was done for our anniversary after specifically mentioning it. A small note would've made the difference.

The location, cleanliness and friendly staff are what make the place a five star.
The rooms were stylish and everything a tourist expects. The hotel could pay attention to give more directions to the rooms and restaurant, especially since the rooms are in different buildings it can be confusing where the rooms are. The shower floors in the rooms are very smooth and the hotel may consider providing extra rubber shower mats. The TV reception in room C4 where we stayed was not good.
It was excellent. The view and the amenities exceeded my wildest dreams.

The surroundings are so breathtakingly beautiful, you can always hear the sea. The location is perfect if you want to be with everyone, but still want a peaceful atmosphere around you in the evenings. The staff are friendly and helpful should you want to go somewhere else (such as the spa). We really enjoyed it and will definitely go again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean View House. Our rooms (we stayed in two different rooms) were gorgeous! The staff was fabulous and very accommodating. Only negative was the WiFi ~ we could never connect to it in our room. We had to go to the main building. It wasn't until our last day that we saw a note stating two different WiFi connections that could be chosen. Other than the WiFi, we loved OVH and the staff! The breakfasts was amazing! Just wasn't communicated well which rooms it was included and which room it was NOT included and was an extra cost. Thank you for everything!
The reception area, rooms and breakfast were fantastic. Kampsbaai is walking distance, which was lovely.
