The penthouse apartment is furnished with local art influences which is hand-made by women in local communities and natural colour palate to offer a soothing atmosphere.
The apartment comprises of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an en suite. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. The second bathroom is shared between the other 2 bedrooms.
The entire penthouse is temperature controlled by individual air-conditioning units. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a dishwasher, a washing machine, and an iron and ironing board. The living area contains a large plasma TV with DStv. The modern and spacious living area leads onto a covered patio. The patio is private and has a lovely view of the ocean which has a gas braai and an outside eating area.
The complex offers a swimming pool, additional braai facilities and secure covered parking bays.

Enjoyed our stay at the penthouse. The only disadvantage was the fact that they do no have a generator.
Yes, but would suggest WiFi should be inserted.
I was disappointed that we only had 1 LED lamp for loadshedding. We arrived and did not have a dishtowel or sponge or a little dishwashing liquid before they arrived to clean - a day later. I did not feel safe. No security gate on front door. No soap at all in the bathrooms. A 4-star plaque is on the wall. This place was definitely not 4 stars! The cleaning company, Ruby, was amazing. They cleaned beautifully and were so helpful. Good location for beach and shops. There was no WiFi available which I did expect for the price we paid.
After taking several opportunities to make sure everything was in working order, a bunch of stuff still didn't work. Some of the doors couldn't lock, aircons don't work, wall plugs don't work, some of the lights don't work, grill is very dirty and the cleaners mentioned that they are not allowed to clean the grills because it takes too much time and soap? There was no toilet paper or washing-up soap, the washing machine's door was broken etc. I would not make any recommendation for this place, the only advice from me would be to stay away from here. It was awful.
We spent a wonderful few days in Ballito. Accommodation was pleasant, very spacious and good location.
Had some plumbing issues.
Our stay was for 5 days. Not a bad place however you can see that the place is getting a bit rundown. Also during our stay, there were constant issues regarding power (not load-shedding related) and water. We were without water for two days due to a leak in the complex and we were constantly having power outages - the longest being a day and a half, so at some stage were had no water or power. The air-con in the small room didn't work at all and in the other room, the air-con was leaking. The lock on the front door randomly doesn't work from the inside which means you could literally get locked inside the apartment.
Poor maintenance. Dstv is not working. Gas grill never cleaned. Still waiting for breakage damage refund.
I stayed in penthouses before and this was nothing special. The only positive thing was the house cleaner Josephine.
The place was beautiful and exceeded my expectations with a beautiful view of the sea. The weekend was too short. I enjoyed my stay and I am definitely coming back for an entire week.

I would not recommend this unit. When things go wrong, you are passed around from one person to another and nobody helps. The gate remote did not work properly, and I notified the person I was told to contact. Nothing was done. The washing machine broke and tripped the electricity. I was left with this, and the smelly water that could not drain for an entire week. Then there was severe renovations right beneath our balcony, with such heavy drilling, we could not even speak to each other in the unit. I was promised a 50% refund for this inconvenience, which almost 2 weeks later is still not in my account. Our veranda was not usable due to the workers, noise and dust. We could enjoy it on the weekend only. I would in future rather book somewhere where there are people to help me when there is problems. As great as it was having an apartment, it turned out disastrous.

Absolutely delicious and luxurious accommodation, with everything needed. Within walking distance of the beach, lovely swimming pool and secure parking. The service we received from Amanda was great, with precise directions, calls to make sure everything was ok and that we were back safely. Ocean View Penthouse is definitely of the highest standard and I would recommend them with a clear heart.
Was disappointed about the aircon not working in the master bedroom. In the guest book, previous guests wrote that the aircon has not been working for a long time (they could have warned us about it). Floor was not cleaned thoroughly either.
