Very nice stay at Oceanic. The host and hostess are the most wonderful people! We really enjoyed the break. Would highly recommend Oceanic.
We had a great time.
The accommodation at Oceanic was spacious and the two of us were very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. Power, WiFi and water were all well provided for, and the dogs were excellent security! Scottburgh Mall is nearby. The hosts were lovely and we enjoyed chatting to them. The aroma of freshly baked bread and rolls is wonderful. You need to place your order early! We were close to the tidal pool, and their own pool is great if it gets too windy on the beach. The patio area also provides good shelter while braaing. Plenty of rocks for fishing and kids to enjoy the marine life in the rock pools. We had a wide view out to the horizon to watch the ship traffic and ski boats, and even spotted a whale or two. So sad we didn't have our granddaughters with us. They would have loved it!
Near sea water, shops like KFC, Spar, garage for petrol, etc.
Location is in the right place, nice and quiet and safe. Uncle and aunt go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Will definitely stay with them again.

We had a wonderful stay. The stoep with the view over the sea made for lovely visits. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool.
It is definitely not wheelchair friendly. Wasn't very clean. Also saw quite a few whales and dolphins, and had a good time.
It was nice, but the place was dirty and smelled of dog pee. The dogs poof everywhere, you can't play outside with your child. The photos are outdated on your website. Place doesn't look like that at all.

Upon our arrival, we were kindly and warmly welcomed by Uncle William and Auntie Hettie. Wonderful people! The unit is spacious and has everything you need. We also really enjoyed the pool! We enjoyed it so much! Will definitely visit them again, as well as recommend to family and friends.
There was much to enjoy with my kids. The pool and sea view. Hospitality it good too.

It was nice to enjoy a meal every morning and evening on the veranda with a sea view. Priston Beach Tidal Pool is just down the street so we went swimming there a lot.
The people are great and so friendly, would go there again anytime.

With the ocean's roar in the background, this is the perfect getaway from mainstream life. Even with some rainy days we could enjoy the ocean on the porch. The hosts were friendly, kind and helpful. Everything you could need was available. This was definitely a holiday to remember.

There was only one negative thing and that is the kitchen cupboards with the cutlery and utensils haven't been washed out properly. It had mildew inside.
Even the woofs were very friendly.

The unit is part of a free-standing house, it is not the whole house. The yard is shared with the hosts. I must admit it doesn't look like the ideal area once you arrive, but Park Rynie has suffered a great deal since the pandemic. Due to the nature of crime in SA it was difficult for girls only to go to the beach across the road, but that changed when my husband arrived. The area is safe and the hosts are friendly. The unit is clean, but does need a good spring cleaning, some curtains are old and can be replaced. William makes a lot of effort so that clients are happy, I liked the inverter which allows you to have power throughout loadshedding. This unit is definitely perfect for a short stay, close to main beaches and malls.

A great family getaway or for a couple. It has all you need. The location is great- Croc World, the Vernon Crooks Nature Reserve and the tidal pool are close by. What more do you need.
Unfortunately we had to go home after 2 days because the borders to Gauteng were closed. It was very sad for us because it was like saying goodbye to family and not knowing when you will see them again.
Hettie was really very helpful and friendly. Nice clean and tidy place with a beautiful sea view. We were spoiled with good food and lots of care. Unfortunately the WiFi, DStv and Netflix had problems. Hettie went out of her way to try to fix it, but the network there is very weak. We will definitely vacation there again. It was delicious.
House was clean and comfortable everything one needs. Service was great.

What you see is what you get and more. The house has a huge space, pool and garden which is great for relaxing and the beach is just below the house.
The pool is nice and warm, baby walk and very friendly people.
Parking for guests problematic. No place to hang towels after a shower and no shower mat available. Hettie is nice and helpful.
What was excellent for us is the fact that Hettie sent us the directions the night before we left and let us know early the next day that our unit was ready.
Thank you very much for the indescribably nice place that we were able to use, it is one of my best holidays ever and will without a doubt recommend you and hopefully make a reappearance in a year. From the time we arrived and were warmly welcomed until the day we unfortunately had to say goodbye it was just friendly and peaceful. Had a nice walk down and walked on the stand and my 4 year old girl even enjoyed the tydings swimming pool which is only a few meters away.

The accommodation was far above average and the price range unbeatable. The owner and his spouse were more like family with outstanding helpfulness, friendliness and thoughtfulness. The only "unwritten" rule can be termed as mutual respect and consideration and cleanliness. The living unit offers far above average amenities, standards and completeness...all included...Best self-catering we have ever visited. The "special offers" are more than welcome for our pensioners. Thank you very much for that. Everything was just fine...fine and still fine!
