We had a very nice stay. Lovely stay and it was very tidy. The one tall glass that was in the cupboard was cracked and there wasn't 6 of everything. We will definitely stay there again.
Well, we were there at a church conference but would like to go there for a family outing. We had a fantastic time, the accommodation was fantastic, clean and just what you need. Secured and a very quiet location. Will definitely go there again.
The stay was very pleasant and exactly what one needed. WiFi will definitely make the visit more worthwhile. Otherwise 10/10.

It is safe and nice close to the beach, but unfortunately the place was very dirty. We had to wash all the dishes before we used them. The drawer with the cutlery was very dirty. The pans are unusable and couldn't even cook anything. Had to wash the stainless steel pan first, because it was dirty. The sheets were clean, but the comforter was dirty and we only used our own one. The pillows are flat and awful. Just went to buy pillows. Upon arrival, I called the woman who sent me information, but got no answer. The window in the children's room cannot close because the latch is broken. The bed in the master bedroom is awful and needs to be replaced. The shower head kept falling off and we had to secure it with cable ties so we could shower. The place really needs attention. They would rather charge a few rand more per day, but only spend a little to get it up to standard.
We enjoyed it, very comfortable and a safe area.
Would love to use Oester 202 again.
The accommodation offers everything you need.
Excellent stay. Everything is in the place we need. All that was missing was a bath mat by the bath for the water that spills from the shower and maybe a cloth for drying up water.
Very cute place, central and very clean. Would definitely recommend the place. New washing machine in unit with tumble dryer which is convenient for the guests.
Als was perfect and tidy. Only complaint is shower, but the cleanliness and location make up for it.

It was in the perfect location between everything we wanted to do within walking distance, I would only request that attention be paid to the braai which was not parkish at all, bricks with a toe pinch grill somewhat unsafe if you don't pack the bricks well and the grid can fall off.
Was a very beautiful and peaceful place. One recommendation would have been to maybe just have a dish towel. We flew and rented a car so we don't have room to bring dish towels. But other than that, the place was nice and big and very beautiful.

Stay was very nice. Only problem was there is only one remote for gate and it made it difficult for all if children want to take one way and we are not home when they come back. Had to drive back and forth with remote to open for the others. Everything else was perfect.

Was there for participation in Ironman Mossel Bay. Location was right for easy access to and from start and finish points.
Fridge was over-frosted and not defrosted on arrival, your first task is to defrost and wash! Fridge needs replacement! Pots, pans and stove is old and oven was not cleaned. We did not have a feeling of coziness, inviting and welcoming. Remember your own towels, kitchen towels, buy ESKOM power on arrival, (were notified). Place needs TLC and deep cleanse. Toilet were challenging during our stay. Braai on little stoep, suggesting you bring your own braai grid. Busy street view, but sea is walking distance.

It would be appreciated if there are a few units of power available for when one arrives in the evening. Maybe just note that there is no ice in the freezer for when the power meter runs empty. The floor was wet on arrival. We had a very nice stay. The place is very neat and the location is perfect. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
Oester is close to businesses, everything is within walking distance. Safe parking place for vehicle.
We will definitely book again and would love to go in December. The owner might just put a fan or 2 in the apartment for the warmer times and repair the shower glass (it leaked so the floor was wet all the time). We had a great time and would definitely recommend it and go again ourselves.

The apartment was dirty, especially the bathroom and kitchen. The grouting above the bath was black due to mold growth and the faucets in the bathroom and kitchen were dirty. You can call us for more details.
Ideal place for a holiday.
Oyster 202 was by far the messiest place I have ever booked through the website. The place was full of dust and large spiders, the cutlery was full of rubbish and pans could not be used. The toilet runs all the time.
Quiet area with friendly people will be happy to relax there again in the future.
Had a quiet time. Apartment was neat and clean. Owner gave us an additional discount on accommodation which was a pleasant surprise. Cutlery can get some attention as some of the knives' handles and blades pull apart.
We put the garden route to the test, staying at quite a few places, and Oester 202 was the only accommodation where you had to buy your own power. For that reason, the price does not compare well with other accommodation that offers the same comfort. Place is well equipped for a holiday and conveniently located in Hatenbos. Walking distance from everything one needs.
The apartment was not completely clean, and there was a problem with the key's pick-up point.
Everything was as advertised. What I would suggest is that since the apartment works with purchasing power, there are enough units (eg 50 units) already loaded when you check in. At the time of my arrival there were only 12 units charged, and as I am only available at 2 locations in the entire Hartenbos/Mossel Bay area, we were left with almost no power (3 units) for the evening as the entire system was off line . I was only able to buy power on Saturday. Otherwise it was a lovely experience.

We were a family of 5. Oester 202 was ideal for us for the 3 nights that we just wanted to quickly slip away.
Apartment was neat and obviously clean, but cockroaches fell out of the kitchen cupboards as soon as you opened them. They were everywhere and spoiled the entire stay. We had to wash all cutlery before use and many of the plastic (melamine) bowls were already cracked.
Accommodation was adequate for our stay as it was not for a holiday. Meet all the basic requirements. (Please replace the can opener. His teeth are all pulled.)
So nice, felt like my own house, good value for money, see you soon!

Apart from the power which has to be bought yourself and the shower/plug which is a bit awkward to access it is a beautiful clean place with everything you need. Really value for money and would go back any time.
Good aspects: Security is good, location is good, price is good, apartment is comfortable. Bad aspects: not suitable for older people because stairs, prepaid power not enough and one must therefore budget for additional purchase. The braai tongs (for wood) are broken and there are knives that are also broken. Without email it is very difficult and frustrating to make reservations.
The accommodation is tidy, well located and value for money. Ideal for a family. We had a great time, thank you!

It's peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed it. Very good reception of keys for the apartment. One downside is that you had to buy your own power.

Very neat and central. It was quite funny that we had to buy electricity ourselves. Suggest that a basic R100 or so is automatically included.
The place is very neat and clean, but we had to switch off the fridge at night because it makes a lot of noise. It's a very small place so you hear that kind of noise at night. The main bedroom's bed is also very hard and uncomfortable. Would recommend that the power be included in the rate, because you don't feel like having to do it at a strange place. Overall very nice.

Well appointed, only very disappointed with the bedding (cheap, thin duvets, pillows are flat mattresses not good quality at all). At least expect to get a good night's rest and not wake up with back pain. Found bath/shower uncomfortable. Two of the three of us slept on the couches in the living room the next night because back pain. I expected better.
We enjoy the stay.
