55 guests' feedbackVery nice stay. The rooms were large and tidy and the porch with the built-in braai a big plus. The living area with the large dining table was a nice place to hang out. Just make sure there is hot water as the geyser may have shut down during the power outages. The three bathrooms are also very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.
We were received very kindly with continuous friendly service. Location of the house is close to the sea and the surroundings are very neat and attractive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.

The house is very nicely decorated and equipped. The braai stoep and built-in braai are very nice. The garden is well maintained and lush green. The large table in the dining room lends itself to pleasant gatherings around the table. There is access to a lock up garage. There is an alarm system that makes it safe.
Best stay yet, nothing cheap in the crockery that we used, also the bedding I enjoyed because most people give you horrible bedding to sleep under.
Jacobsbaai is extremely beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Nice place for relaxing.

The one shower was badly blocked and the leg of the one bed broke the first time it was sat on. However, it was temporarily fixed.
What I was disappointed about is that the description for Ohana states that there are indoor braai facilities with an ocean view. That is not the truth. You don't see the sea at all from the covered barbecue. I wouldn't have booked the place if I knew there wasn't a sea view from the barbecue patio. Mostly when we get away we just want to sit and look at the sea. The sea view is nice from the top porch.
Each room has its own en-suite bathroom that was spotlessly clean. The braai area is great, even in the event where there is wind and bad weather. The house is well equipped with everything we required. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time in the lovely house. Jacobs Bay is a destination where you can forget about your everyday hustle and just breathe in peace and rest for your soul. A definite visit-here-again place. Both the owner and the agent went out of their way to make everything convenient for us.
It's a beautiful place. The owners just have to make sure the place is properly cleaned. There are bed bugs in the upper bed and some of the cutlery had to be washed before being used. The dishwasher is very old and no longer works effectively. There was old food in the fridge from previous people who were there, it was rotten and we had to throw it away. The manager quickly sorted out the DStv that was not working.
What a wonderful, peaceful weekend we had as a family. The house is big, neat and everything you need is already there. Have already recommended Ohana to our friends. Thank you for your super service.

Ohana Self Catering unit exceeded all our expectations. All necessary amenities are there, it's fully equipped, the location is perfect and it's clean and tidy. Neat and safe house with an alarm system. Although I doubt it's necessary in a town like Jacob's Bay. Great facilities and lovely living area. Will definitely book again.

Place was neat and clean with a lovely braai area and lawn for the children. Unfortunately it is advertised as a three bedroom, but it was rather a two bedroom with a loft that has no door. So the loft is not as comfortable in terms of privacy and quiet (which is necessary with a small child) and we would've reconsidered had we known this beforehand.

The house was very nice and clean and the location close to the sea. Note that the upper room does not have a door ("loft") so if the children sleep there it is perfect for early morning movement.

Lovely living and visiting house. One shower door was broken and glass not all cleaned up, but apparently it happened a day or two before we got there. The house is well equipped.
Will definitely visit again. Absolutely love the house and Jacobs Bay. Amenities are luxurious and the house is well appointed. Because we have small children, it would have been an extra bonus if the lawn at the back of the stoep and braai area had been set up to relax/play with the children while the fire was burning and we were grilling some meat. Currently, it does not provide for it. Had a fantastic long weekend, facilities are luxurious and the house is well appointed. Outdoor grilling is also sheltered from the weather which is a plus.
