Felt at home at Old Vic's Inn. Owner made an effort to get up early to open the gate (5h45) for us. Will definitely visit Old Vic again in the future.
Not with family but as a lone traveller, it will be nice. The shower was only hot or cold all the time, so that was the only negative. And maybe remove the one couch and put in a cabinet to store clothes.

We really enjoyed the sleepover. Their self-catering unit was spacious and tidy with a lovely, large shower too. The owners are hospitable and helpful. It is centrally located in a nice quiet area. It's close to the biggest and nicest secret around. Abeega Roadhouse! It's so nice because it's close and the tastiest, fairest price food has. We would love to come back again.
Well equipped apartments that were very clean and tidy. Great service from all staff we came into contact with.
The host did an excellent job.
No candles or lights to use. Also not on the path where you walk to your room. Lots of noise from other residents Friday and Saturday nights. Asked about breakfast, said R150 for 2 eggs and toast per person ─ well that's a lot. Rooms not cleaned. Mentioned our room's lock not working, it can't lock, and they said they would have a look. Not done at all. Sorry we won't see you again.
Upon arrival we did not feel welcome at all. Only stayed 1 night even though we paid for a week. Advertisement is false. Bathroom was dirty. Shower floor was disgustingly dirty. Dinner is R200 per person and we didn't feel like they really wanted to do that.
The people are very friendly and very great to assist if there is any needs.

This is for the traveller who seeks a rustic experience with local amenities on their doorstep.
Old Vic is not up to date, most furniture is old and the bed is made of cement just a mattress on top of the cement base.
Very unfriendly. Extra costs for everything, eg your room key. No card facilities. Cash bar only has beer, at ridiculous prices. Must ring bell to open gate or call.
Area is beautiful. Enjoyed the company of the tourists and found it interesting.
