The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and is fitted with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The lounge contains comfy couches and an air-conditioner, and opens to a patio area with braai facilities and a firepit, and a thatched lapa with a picnic bench. The chalet also has a splash pool to cool down, and a covered jacuzzi. Shaded parking is provided.

From the animals visiting you while having your braai or morning coffee, to the song and view of spectacular bird life, and the beautiful stars under the African skies. Lovely stay at 3008 Olifant. Nice accommodation for a stay in Marloth. The living area in the accommodation was a bit snug, but the outdoor area was lovely.
It was very nice and comfortable. The shower was a bit 'tricky' but we got it right.
Thank you very much, it was great. Also want to say thank you for the wedding anniversary gift that was left for us, we really appreciate it.
The place was really clean and tidy.
The place is much smaller than the photos suggest. We were 3 adults with 1 teenager. It was cramped and in each other's space. I personally can't imagine that 6 people can fit. Sleep yes, but live no. Loadshedding falls under MarlothPark 8 not 16.
Very nice stay. House was not affected by loadshedding at all, which helped a lot, and the aircons being able to stay on in the heat of Marloth was a blessing.
We spent most of the time in the Jacuzzi, especially during phase 6 load shedding. We couldn't believe how tame the wildlife was, especially the kudus, duikers, nyalas, zebras, blue wildebeest, reed goats and bushbucks. It exceeded all our expectations and was very special.
We really enjoyed the place - everything we needed was there. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi. The owners were very nice and helpful. We will definitely use the place again.
Would definitely recommend Olifant, Lynica went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Nice to get such good service. And the house with the Jacuzzi is a winner. Will visit there again.

Olifant is a very clean and tidy place. The air conditioning helped a lot on the hot days. Relax in the pool. Wild animals make a stop every now and then for food. The house is neat and comfortable. We enjoyed it very much. Kitchen just needs a few Tupperware containers. Will definitely go again.
The Elephant House was efficient. We enjoyed our visit very much. The forest has done us good. Because there is only one bathroom and toilet I would not recommend the place for more than one family. Upon arrival, the kitchen sink was full of old dishwater. One small dustbin is not enough. Guests should be told to bring black bags as none are provided. I also had to clean the shower which was full of hair. The floors were not clean either. I would suggest purchasing better cleaning services. The house is well equipped with the necessary. Sofas and beds comfortable. Thank you very much for making the place our home.
Everything was very nice, all that was a small problem was the lighting in the unit is very dark struggle if you are busy in the kitchen with the lighting. Just another thing we picked up the stove plates were very oily and in the upstairs room under the bed was a book from previous guests.
We had a wonderful stay with all the necessary facilities at our disposal. Although the place is not big and spacious, the outdoor barbecue and lapa make up for enough space and a lovely place to hang out. Just a suggestion: Road sign from the main road to the house's entrance, maybe just put a sign in the main road. Lighting in the bedrooms should only use slightly stronger bulbs.
Baie dankie vir die gebruik van julle huis. Net die volgende: Die een wasbak in die kombuis se prop werk nie en water hardloop in die kas. Julle sal moet kyk na daardie kas, groot waterskade. Die lig in die lapa het nie gewerk nie. Ek sal ook voorstel dat julle net bietjie sterker ligte in die kamer sit. Verder het ons baie lekker gebly en gerus.

The house was quite clean. No television which was a problem since it rained the entire weekend. Bedding was very good. House is smaller than expected, plus the location wasn't quite what we wanted. However, we were unable to judge where the house was before the time.
