Amazing host and so kind. She let us borrow her kayak to go on the dam and her bicycles. The location is walking distance from everything in town. Your view when waking up and from the porch is something I will never forget. The best bathtub with so much space. Her farm animals are so cute and we got to play with all of them and feed the goats. You get value for money, would definitely recommend.
Comfortable accommodation with the friendliest owners. The units were all clean and tidy, with the nicest bedding and warm blankets for Dullstroom's cold. This is our second visit to Olive Bumble and we will definitely use and recommend them again.
What a wonderful place! The unit is so neat and clean, the hostess is a real people person and you just feel like you are staying at your own home. The farm animals make it fun for children, the hostess gave us apples and carrots so we could feed the animals. Blankets ready for the Dullstroom weather were definitely an asset with the evening's cold wind. And the best of all? A birthday present after I mentioned we were visiting Dullstroom for my birthday. And a fresh banana bread was just the icing on the cake.

My wife and I had a great stay for 2 nights on the way back from the wildlife park. Unit is neat and spacious and just what you need for relaxation. We were also treated to a delicious fresh banana bread when we arrived at the unit. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful.

A lovely stay with all the amenities and a very cute boma. The only downside was that it is difficult to find as the streets are not marked. The trains going by did not worry us at all. In fact, it was lovely to see trains still working.

Nice and modern place with all the necessary facilities. Olive Bumble is the perfect place for a getaway. Very close to town, the room is neat and clean with a lovely shower. Nice view of the horses and goats busying themselves in the sun. We had a medical problem and in a town without a doctor and pharmacy they helped us out with medication long before the pharmacy opened.
The unit is beautifully decorated and was very clean and tidy. There are sufficient facilities (such as a small fridge, microwave oven and 2 plates of stove with oven) to prepare meals for yourself if you do not want to eat at one of the local restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and we slept soundly on the cold night. Feeding the ducks and horse and even the train that passed some distance away was a big highlight for our little girl. There is secure covered parking available. I'm sorry we didn't have more time to take in the tranquility. Thank you very much Janine, your focus on detail and the delicious banana bread as a treat is much appreciated!

Janine already contacted us before arrival to make us feel welcome right from the start. Our room (Brown Trout) was very tastefully decorated and the bath is extremely spacious with a very nice shower. The place has a peaceful atmosphere and is located near all the famous restaurants. There is extra light in times of "loadshedding". We were also pleasantly surprised with a freshly baked banana bread! You will definitely see us again!

The unit was neat and perfect for just an overnight stay. We were in town most of the time. We had a little trouble with the geyser which didn't stay hot for long on Saturday, but otherwise there were no problems. The owner was very nice and the view is very nice.

Olive Bumble is very well equipped for loadshedding and the cold weather in winter - lights, rechargeable light bulbs, hot bags, solar lights outside, flasks for hot water. Our little boy was able to feed the animals with the food provided by Janine. Very accommodating hosts. Wish we could visit even longer.
We had an exceptional weekend stay at Olive bumble. It is located close to all the shops in Dullstroom which was very convenient. The room we stayed in was breathtakingly beautiful with a stunning bathroom and kitchen that was very clean and hygienic. We absolutely loved the farm animals, it was definitely a highlight of our stay there. The owners are very friendly and hospitality is top notch. We will definitely visit again.

Quiet farm environment with beautiful animals and nature, although close to the village of Dullstroom, within driving distance to several restaurants, many open early in the evening but at least two were open even in the evening, during the week.

Very nice neat unit quiet farm atmosphere just outside the town, service was great, the children loved it, we really recommend it for people with children, there is a lot to do, from feeding goats/horses/rabbits/fish , cycling, to fishing at dullstroom dam (walking distance). Just delicious onstpan for ours. Dullstroom town is a 2 minute drive then you are in the main street for if you want something to eat etc. We were able to fish for trout at the village pond, as well as learn fly fishing at sterling flyman trophy pond in the village. We will definitely visit again!

We had such a nice stay at Olive Bumble. Janine is the kindest and most helpful hostess. The unit is laid out with care. It's beautiful, practical and very comfortably furnished. We slept nice and warm and really enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. Braai facilities and kitchen are equipped with everything you need for a weekend getaway. We will definitely visit them again.
Janine has a heart of gold and her facilities are extremely tidy, safe and can be pulled through a ring. Everything you could possibly need is there and more. The photos made us think that it was a pretty ok stay. Nothing special, but the rooms were really cute and much better than we expected. Don't get me wrong, the picture are accurate, but not very favourably taken. Also: the rooms are definitely this accommodations strongest point so we don't understand why they don't lead with them. The outside is pretty rustic but not as sad as it looks in the photos.

Olive Bumble's accommodation is beautiful, clean and very tidy with the two units conveniently close to each other. Perfect for the big birthday celebration for which we wanted to take my in-laws somewhere special. The view of the field, the pond and hill in the distance with Sitka (the horse) coming over the fence to say hello. The children enjoy the bunnies, chickens and the goats very much and soon learn everyone's names. The newest residents are the ducklings swimming peacefully on the pond, too cute. Janine and Pieter go out of their way to make us feel welcome with a very friendly greeting and the fresh baked goods are quickly annexed by the children as a cremation in the unit. Will definitely come back to Dullies to take a breather at Olive Bumble, the piece of heaven on earth. 10/10 and definitely recommended.
My in-laws are extremely difficult to impress and it was for an important birthday that we wanted to spoil them. They had such a nice stay at Olive Bumble and were impressed with the bed, pillows, bedding, the bath and the tranquility that the accommodation offers. The view with mist from early morning was also a hit. They will definitely be back at Olive Bumble's Golden Trout, and soon.

The unit is tidy, well equipped and has good bedding. The deck on which you can relax and barbecue is also very nice. There is a very good braai.
The flat is well equipped with lovely touches like fresh banana bread and shoulder blankets. The animals really make it special and it was very convenient for trips into town.
Olive Bumble is located in a separate section from the main road through Dullstroom. It is an ideal place for getaways and for special events. It does get very cold in the winter and some thick jackets are suggested. We were warned about a train that might bother us, but we didn't hear it even once.
Janine's welcome page in the unit sums it up for me so nicely: "We are so happy that you have decided to come to our place to breathe in Dullies. Olive Bumble is our family's piece of heaven on earth." From the directions and friendly welcome, to the farewell, it was truly unforgettable. The children enjoyed the visit to the farm so much that after our short visit on the farm it was simply difficult to return to the city. We can't wait to visit the neat, very well-equipped unit with the friendly people where you feel like you've come home even if you've never been there. We will definitely be making a visit again very quickly.

The room was clean and spacious with an nice outside undercover balcony where you can relax and view all the animals. Janine and family are very friendly and going out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Attention to small detail like powder milk, and something for the sweet tooth make the stay just that more memorable. Will defiantly make use of their facility again when in the vicinity.

This is a lovely, well equipped unit. Although it is close to Dullstroom's activities, it is quiet and peaceful. If you are an animal lover, the place is for you - rabbits, dogs, chickens, goats and a horse without one bothering you. Me, my husband and our 2 year old boy went home wonderfully. The hostess and her family are very friendly people, and made us feel very at home, without breaking our threshold (they live on the same premises). The space is slightly smaller than shown in the photos, an extra double bed may be unnecessary for the space, but we still fit in very comfortably, and everything was at our disposal to prepare meals. The animals on the premises were an absolute highlight for our boy, and it was very nice for him to get acquainted with the goats and fish.
The quick handover of the keys, without terrible talk, was appreciated. Very spacious, as well as neat room. Friendly hosts. Beautiful surroundings with lots of animals to spot.

Olive Bumble is located on a wonderful plot of land that buzzes with love and homeliness. 100% furnished for anything you might need and more, means that from your arrival to your departure one can sit quietly and enjoy the view of the Dullstroom Dam and mountain. We were so impressed with this accommodation. Janine is an incredible host and makes you feel at home right away. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and more. Another thing that stood out to me was how clean the place was. The location is amazing, you are close enough to the little town of Dullstroom that you can walk there from the accommodation if you wanted to, but also far enough out of the town that it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, and that was so peaceful. If you are looking for a relaxing stay away from the busy city life, this is definitely a place you have to visit. We will definitely be visiting Olive Bumble again, hopefully soon!

This is self care. Everything is there, just maybe slightly more effort with the usual coffee that is usually provided. The coffee was hard in the small sachets and there was no sugar. But that's a trifle. It's just a coincidence that we brought everything but forgot the coffee at home this time. And when we wanted to use the unit's coffee and then realized it. But the rest was perfect, thank you very much.

This was a comfy place to stay, reasonably priced with polite and helpful hosts. I appreciated the regular emails and texts offering travelling help, directions etc if needed. I had my own space and felt supported without being cramped by too much attention.

Everything was really nice and nice, except picking up the key. Arriving at the Mayfly at 7 o'clock in the evening and then being told that the keys are not there, and then arriving at Dullstroom Accommodation in front of a dead man's door - this with a 10-month-old baby who was driven tired less nice. The lady from Dullstroom Accommodation was then called and we had to wait for her to come and unlock - she forgot to hand in our keys to Mayfly. Other than that, no complaints.

After initial struggle to get hold of the keys, everything fell into place. Accommodation compares to many good guest houses, holiday and pleasure resorts that my family and I have visited. It's not always like that with any service provider, because everyone makes mistakes, as long as you just learn from it and move on. I will book there again.

The house we stayed in was spacious and tidy. We stayed there with my sister who had a 2 year old busy girl. The house was so nice even with the toys and enough to keep her busy. Extra effort was made with a camping cot in a room. Will always visit Olive Bumble again.
Have been to many places where the photos were deceptive, but how amazing this place was, could not have been more satisfied, much nicer than I expected and the horses really made our day, even they were friendly and spontaneous! Can't wait to go back.

We only stayed one night at Olive Bumble, but will definitely use them again when we find ourselves in Dullstroom. We were a large group (8 adults, one 3 year old and one baby), but there was plenty of room for all of us. We stayed in Rainbow Trout and Golden Trout. The rooms are well furnished and clean. Everything you need, even toys for the children and camping chairs for the porch. Janine was also extremely helpful. On her own initiative, she informed us of the load shedding that we could possibly experience and also responded to every Whatsapp message I sent her. Everything was really perfect!

We stayed one night in Olive Bumble, the Rainbow Trout unit, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Security is good. The last 100m of the road to the accommodation is a dirt road which is in a pretty bad condition.

Lovely, peaceful place that completely met our requirements. Ideal for a couple or even a couple with a small child. Very neat and clean. Will definitely stay there again.
It was wonderfully warm and cozy inside, while it was raining and there was thick fog, we didn't even know about the cold. We had a very nice stay.

Had a great stay. Location is good, the road to Olive Bumble is not in a good state. Unfortunately the stairs to the chalet were a difficulty, seeing that I had a knee operation. My fault, should've mentioned that when I made the booking, will ask for a floor chalet next time. Would definitely use Olive Bumble for my next stay in Dullstroom.
We had a very nice stay. Neat place to stay in a very peaceful environment with a nice view very close to everything in town. Note that it is located at the end of a very stony dirt road and there are steps up to the accommodation.

Unfortunately, our experience was not a happy one. The cottage was too far out of town to walk to shops and restaurants - especially in the evening after dinner in the dark. There was only one wall plug that worked with the result that you can't use the microwave, oven, toaster or kettle, and if you want you have to put the kettle on the floor next to the bed and try that power plug. Or the other one, and hope for the best. Only one lamp had a bulb in it. The braai was provided but there was nowhere to use it, except if you carry it downstairs and braai in front of the garage. We went out to eat instead. The whole thing was really just effort and struggle on what was supposed to be our rest and get away weekend.
I will go back to Olive Bumble again, the people were helpful and the place was "out of this world".
Olive Bumble is not only beautiful, it's fully ready for you, all you need to take is food and clothes, the rest is 101% there, the price is very reasonable, but what you get is more than 5 star in me opinion. We were so surprised that we will definitely go there again, this time with the family.
It was a lovely weekend, we missed the one night. It made the Olive Bumble ghosts look nice. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful place. Just a tad too little hot water.
We had a lovely stay and the view is breathtaking. My husband was able to go for a run and felt safe in the area. Three things we missed but not reasons not to go: 1. The toilet lid was missing, we missed it. 2. I think it will be good to put a dustpan and broom in every unit. Instead of the big beautiful coffee table, a small kitchen table with chairs would be more practical to eat, especially since it is a sel-catering unit. I would recommend the place to anyone. The price is very good and it was peaceful and very beautiful. Thank you very much for the help I got telephonic/WhatsApp from Janine when we did look for a dustpan.

Olive Bumble is on the edge of the town with a lovely view. The owners are very friendly and everything was well organised. Wish we could stay longer and will definitely stay here again.

If you'd like to be upgraded with no extra costs and if you desire to feed horses, get sweets on your bed and receive a warm welcoming, this is the perfect place for you. The owners never intruded but they are very hospitable and even answered a few questions about the beautiful town. The unit was clean and neat and newly renovated. Fantastic value for money.
The only improvement I can recommend is definitely new beds.

Olive Bumble is a lovely place and has a view of the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. They have horses which is a nice addition the place.
Was an awesome one night stay. Brown trout is perfect for one night sleep over. Great service from all involved. Very stylish, neat and clean. The view is incredible. For someone who went there in a new car and not a 4x4 I would suggest to have the road paved. Gravel road was a bit nerve wrecking. Other than that a wonderful stay!
The was neat and clean and there is what one needs. The security is not up to standard in my opinion. No proper fence with no burglar bars. The alarm went off, but no one came to find out if everything was okay. As for the rest, no complaints, had a great time.
After driving around everywhere, we were quite tired. Relax, enjoy the horses, enjoy silence, beautiful sunset!

The one geyser is a bit small to provide hot water for 3 bedrooms, but otherwise the places are very well rested.
It rained while we were there, so the water from the main roof dripped on our place through out the night as there's no gutter on the main roof. Couldn't sit on the patio because the other guests share it and they were already there. The bed was comfortable, bath/toilet facilities good.
We had to get our keys from a restaurant, not that it was a problem, but when you arrived at the accommodation it was hard to know what room was ours. After we had figured it out, things were okay. The room is comfortable, beautiful decor and clean. It would have been nice just to have another blanket in the closet (or an electric blanket on the bed) because the panel heater doesn't really make a difference to the extreme cold conditions we experienced. The horses are friendly and the view is wonderful. There is a train that passes a few times but it didn't disturb us too much. Thicker curtains will also help against the cold and the sound of the backpackers right next door. Still enjoying ourselves. The price was good and it wasn't too far from the main street.
There was a problem with the hot water, but it was satisfactorily sorted out by the owner.
There was only a terrible noise from the house next door until late at night.
