What a cute little place. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful gardens and you have total privacy. We had a very nice stay. Dee, the hostess, thought of everything you could need, even swimming towels. We will definitely stay there again.

It was a pleasure to visit Prince Albert and to be able to stay at the Olive Grove Cottage. Deborah was an absolute star and made sure we were comfortable and happy. Olive Grove Cottage is very centrally located and within walking distance of nice restaurants, galleries, shops and the museum. Would recommend Olive Grove for sure.

It was our first visit to Prince Albert, and it was a very special one too! Our host could not have been more helpful and even booked a meal at a restaurant that night. The room was beautifully decorated, and a big bonus for me was a lovely pool to swim in on the meticulously kept grounds. We should have stayed longer. Highly recommend!
We stopped over in Prince Albert for one night on a road trip. I wish we had stayed longer, just so we could lounge around this beautiful space. The cottage at Olive Grove Cottages is spectacular. The garden is beautiful, tended with such loving care. Everywhere you look is a pretty space. The location is great, we walked to a stunning restaurant just down the road. We will definitely be back for a longer stay. Di is a wonderful host.

The accommodation at Olive Grove Cottages is so beautiful, and has everything you need for self-catering. There is also a beautiful garden and a lovely space to relax outside. The Olive Grove is definitely worth it for a weekend visit in Prince Albert, the house is very clean, tidy and well equipped. The house has a lovely porch and a very nice braai area that overlooks the beautiful garden. The rooms are very neat and well equipped. Our hostess, Dee was also a pleasure to work with.

It is rare that one walks into someone else's home and immediately feels at home. This was how it felt to be received at Olive Grove Cottages. The house is equipped with everything one needs and is also absolutely beautiful. My husband and I visited Prince Albert as part of our honeymoon and Olive Grove Cottages was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We will definitely be booking again soon!

There is also a 'smart TV' in the room, so you can watch Netflix in bed.

Five-star accommodation in picturesque Prince Albert. The hostess Dee contacted us before our arrival and offered to book for dinner. The cottage is fully equipped, very tastefully designed. A place where you want to visit for a few days.
Friendly hostess who communicates excellently. There is everything and more that you need for self-catering accommodation. It was clean and tidy and a convenient location to explore the town on foot. We stayed in the smaller of the 2 places. It only has an outside kitchen and dining table on a large covered porch, which we found convenient, but could be a problem if the weather didn't cooperate.

Olive Grove exceeded all our expectations, lovely patio area, tasteful decor and the nicest, big bath towels and thick bath mats! The good lighting, which is often lacking, was also a plus. Very well equipped from braai wood to coffee pods and a lemon lying ready on the cutting board! If I can recommend something it is outdoor lights. It was very dark and difficult to find our way through the trees after we went out to eat. The parking was in the yard but, facing the street and the wall and gate relatively low, so it was not exactly safe parking. All in all, I would definitely recommend Olive Grove. Very neat and a real haven.
Dorothy and Daniël are so friendly and have thought of every detail to make the place as beautiful as possible with all the amenities one needs. A bonus is the delicious home-baked rusk. I would not stay anywhere else in Prince Albert.
Most friendly on arrival, never seen such a spotless, cosy accommodation before. Waffle-weave, white towels, heated towel rail, a real spoil. the garden and patio were so beautiful, relaxing with great birdlife. No unnecessary frills and dust-collectors. Looks far better in real life, than in pictures.

Lovely cozy room with king-size bed, large enough bathroom (with large shower, toilet and sink), and small kitchen with microwave oven, small fridge, coffee, tea and sugar, and delicious biscuits. The large covered patio with cozy furniture doubles one's space, and the large neat garden gives one space. We were in the smaller unit, and it's far enough from the larger guest room that you're not even aware of it, but close enough that if it was a group reservation, it could work. The guest house is on Church Street (the main street), and within walking distance of restaurants, the hotel, galleries, etc. Dee is a fantastic hostess.

Just what you need for a Prince Albert getaway. Cottage with large garden for relaxing by the pool, but in town close to all the restaurants and attractions. Host and hostess, Dee, was always available and very friendly with advice.
Deborah is the kindest person and has really thought of every little detail in this little place. She often checked if everything was still ok and pointed out the best places for us to go to. I would recommend anyone to stay at Olive Pip anytime. It's quiet and peaceful here, perfect for anyone who wants to escape the city's hustle and bustle!
We didn't realize there was a Cottage and Pip. We booked with the Cottage in mind as in the ad's photo, but there is also the Pip which is significantly smaller where we booked before - unaware that there is a difference. However, our hostess suggested that we stay in the Cottage because there was no other reservation and we wanted to stay 4 nights - that was very nice of her and we are so glad we could stay there. The Pip would have been just too cramped for 4 nights.

Little Pip is a delightful cottage in the center of Prince Albert, yet completely private, overlooking a peaceful and well-tended old olive grove. The layout is very practical and the interior decoration shows particularly good taste. The large covered patio has everything you need to relax and unwind, with a kettle braai and comfortable sofas and chairs. It's definitely our choice if we visit Prince Albert again (hopefully soon).
Owner so friendly and helpful, even assisted to unpack our car. This place is heaven, can really recommend if you need to get away from the city! Will be back.

Very attractive presentation and enjoyed the fact that we could choose to cook indoors or outdoors on the patio.
The only improvement to suggest would be for the owner to offer a cleaning once a day to clean dishes and make beds.
We booked for four nights. I recommend to book for two nights only, as the space gets cramped and the cutlery etc. really is not enough, unless one washes it the whole stay.
Little Pip is a beautiful, tasteful unit with a luxurious feel, set in a large garden with swimming pool. Very peaceful environment. Friendly hosts, very helpful. Extras such as biscuits, a lemon for drinks, delicious shower soap, shampoo and conditioner, special towels make this stay extra special.

Our stay was wonderful and the cottage and gardens were beautiful! The host was superb with great communication and attention to detail offering us wine and fruit. If you are doing any self-catering, the kitchen is small with no sink. The lady did however clean items for us daily and if needed something cleaned we used the bathroom basin. My wife and I went for a few days to rest and recharge. Dee and Daniel were incredible hosts and went out of their way to make it as enjoyable as possible. The cottage was just what we wanted, and the pretty garden and cool pool were the crown of the weekend. We will definitely go there again!

Olive Grove Cottages exceeds all expectations. The place is like an oasis in the desert. Terrific detail and extra effort in the rooms and kitchens with beautiful linens. Freshly baked biscuits in the kitchen along with a selection of coffees and teas and even fresh fruit on the table upon your arrival. Olive Cottages was only one night on our trip to the Cape, but we will definitely stay there for a few days next time. Peaceful and beautiful with a lovely cool pool to wash off the day's long drive from Gauteng. Very friendly owner. We will see you again for sure.
