An Oasis in the Karoo. The stay was excellent.
What a great self catering unit in Williston! The unit is spacious and has everything needed. We had a great stay (only one night) but would definitely recommend and use the unit in the future to explore the town and surrounding area. The book on the history of the town was very informative and good reading material. We traveled with our 2 dogs - there is no grass (understandable in the arid region). But the fenced yard was big enough for them as well as the street walks.

Sorry we were too late for barbecue, would have liked, very nice barbecue. Due to road works we arrived much later than expected. Owners were in contact with us all the time, everything was very well organized (even though it was already very late in the evening).
This was one of the most beautiful guesthouses I have ever stayed at. It's beautifully furnished and everything you need is there.
The cottage was lovely. Roomy. Clean. Our hostess was very helpful and gracious and allowed us to check in earlier than we were supposed to. It was quick from the cottage to take the gravel route to Brandvlei. A perfect stayover for one night en route further north.

I have used Oliveira before and was once again very satisfied. It was cold, but you didn't know it a. g. f. nice electric blankets & warm "aircon" if needed. Everything neat & clean. Met kindly by hostess.

First of all, Sarah's hospitality is top notch and then the apartment is very neat and clean, with all the necessary items in place. She directed us to an excellent restaurant for dinner (Manna's) and we slept very well. When we had a little trouble with the TV signal, her husband immediately came to help and fixed it. We will definitely stay there again. Prices are also very reasonable.

Very neat and clean - spacious rooms. For cold winter evenings there are electric blankets and for hot days, air conditioning. Everything you need is there. PS maybe a stone pavers can be laid from the parking area to the front door, so that we don't kick dust into the apartment.
Oliveira is in a very nice environment and we had a very nice stay. Everything needed in a self-catering unit is available. Williston only has a few dangerous mosquitoes, so take Tabbard with you!
Williston seems little more than a fuel stop, with one of the old style general stores.
The hosts were away so we had to turn on the geyser and electricity. No instructions that the burglar alarm was on so we set it off. The stay was comfortable and pleasant, well equipped and clean.

A beautiful oasis after a long day's drive through the Karoo.
Sarah was an excellent hostess who made sure we were comfortable and happy. She went out of her way to make it easy for us over the festive season when many of the shops weren't actually open. Accommodation is very clean, tidy, spacious and in a peaceful environment. Would visit again anytime and recommend for overnight stay or even a few days.

All linen, furniture and fittings were of high quality and extremely tidy.
Would like them to arrange for ice in the icebox. Just the small bowl that is usually found in such a refrigerator. When you have driven far, and want to pour a cold drink, this is a small service, but very important. The rest can be bought.
