I had a great stay! The hosts were helpful and attentive. I'd accidentally arrived a day early and they were still willing to accommodate me. The cottage is spacious, quiet and very well-appointed for self-catering. A very comfortable place.

It was cold and we had snow too! On arrival, the town's power was indeed out. Not to worry, enough blankets, a gas stove and extra water were provided, so the sleepover was still a pleasant experience! Thank you very much Olive's!

Very friendly welcome. The table was beautifully set for us with fresh flowers from the garden.
Serviced, WiFi and DStv. Only great green garden in town and it's well looked after by the owner. Clean and neat with everything you need. Great for a base to cycle the district roads past all the farms in the area and some great hidden valleys.

Our second stay at Olive's Cottage and just as good as the first. Lovely, friendly host and cottage is well-equipped and clean.
We will definitely stay there again - there is everything you need, down to electric blankets on the beds and a very effective fireplace.
My wife and I have historical roots in Molteno ... hers with the van Zyl farm, Klipfontein and mine with the Lomax family, Ambrose, John and their father Arthur from Steynsburg. We have been back before for the sake of family memories and have not been disappointed. Jenny went out of her way to ensure that we had a good stay in her lovely and cosy cottage.
Jenny was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very neat and so nicely furnished. Totally felt like we were in the middle of England! The surroundings are very peaceful and Jenny's garden was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
The cottage is neat and beautiful. The hostess was friendly and helpful. For future travelers, be aware that Molteno has no facilities (food and shops) so prepare for that. Apart from that, it is a wonderful overnight stop on the journey.
