The access road needs attention and better directions. The parking area can be tarred or concreted. That uneven stone paving makes it untidy. The path to the residence's stones is also very uneven and makes it difficult to walk easily. Then what was a real pain, the stairs are totally outside the guideline for normal easy stair heights, I think it's about 170mm standard, those stairs are much higher than that and wow, it wasn't easy. The double bed's height from the floor and then with the soft mattress was extremely uncomfortable. It would count in their favor in my opinion if they addressed these few things. Furthermore, our stay was quite acceptable. Oh, the power outages were annoying, but hey, it's expensive to plan for them. Thank you very much and please accept my criticism as well intended. Thank you
There were no bins in the units and while we were napping someone came into the room with no warning.
Breakfast was not possible, because the guests of the wedding made such a mess in the dining area that we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. We will go back when there is not a wedding, just for the horses. The horses were stunning and so well cared for. No reception on site. Because of the wedding there was noise for 2 nights until the morning hours.
Home away from home with everything you could need to feel like you are at home.
We had a very nice stay. The accommodation was clean and tidy. We were very spoiled with breakfast where we got special plate cookies the second morning. The owners (Mark and Leanne) and cook (Caroline) were very friendly and concerned about us. We will definitely stay here again in the future. It's ideal for children and the horses were a big plus for us.
