We will drive to Bloem just to be able to stay there. Thank you very much, It was a special weekend with so much effort on your part. The silence and tranquility made us feel like we were on vacation. Hope the children tour again in Bloem soon.
You can't get more perfect than Olyf!
The outdoor pool is fantastic, even in winter. Inside, the bathroom floor is also heated with a lovely large bath. Excellent getaway spot for couples.
This place is a piece of heaven. You get so much more worth for your money. We'll be back and would love to stay for longer.
The fireplace was already lit on arrival, a nice bottle of wine was a surprise. Beautiful place.
The cottage was very tastefully appointed with luxury fittings, nice mix of old and modern wood, lacking for nothing. The wood burning stove was very much appreciated given the sub-zero Bloemfontein winter temperatures.
It was the best stay during our trip.
Olyf is 'n stunning plek, ons is verwelkom met wyn en lekker southappies en puik diens. Dit is uiters skoon en netjies. Voel of mens in jou eie huis in stap. Daar is alles wat mens nodig het, en nog meer. Ek is versot op elke klein detail in die huisie. Ons sal oor en oor terug gaan.
My husband and I went to visit our 22-year-old son who lives in Bloemfontein and we stayed over for one night. I would recommend anyone to stay at Olyf Guest Cottage. It was amazing, the cottage is modern and spotless. The location is excellent and the cottage is very private. Every possible little thing you can think of was in the cottage, we had our own coffee, sugar etc. taken along, but it wasn't even necessary. The bottle of wine and chocolates there on your arrival was so special. There was up to wood, charcoal and blitz. Francelle is an amazing hostess, on hand but respects your privacy. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. All the little things like soap, scented candles, bubble bath etc. I did not expect! Will never stay anywhere else in Bloemfontein again.

The road to the cottage is tarred. If guests order from Checkers or Woolworths ahead of time, they can arrange with the owner and food and other items can be safely stored in the cottage.The hot tub is available at extra cost but guests need to enquire ahead of time. The cost for the hot tub is R300 extra.
