Absolutely great stay. Perfect view, perfect beach and very safe. Very well-equipped place. Staff at the accommodation were very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back for another stay!
Wow! What a fantastic place! Safe! We slept with the doors open to the sound of waves! Incredible view from the balcony - and adjacent to the beach! Very practical layout - the kitchen has coffee, tea and sugar and full ice trays! Clean and tidy - comfortable bed! Outdoor barbecue was the bonus! Will definitely go again!
The place is small but big enough for 2 people, it was kitted out well and there was no shortage of the basic necessities. The stairs going up to the unit are a bit steep and the grab rail is far too big to get a proper grip. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
On the Beach is the best getaway spot ever. Beautiful view and a wonderful visit every time. Can definitely recommend it.
The apartment is comfortable for 2 people, everything you need, would just appreciate a fan for the heat, but would definitely stay there again and recommend the place.
Really enjoyed staying here. It's on the beach. Nice swimming, going for a walk, sunsets are awesome. It had been very peaceful and I could sleep so well with the sound of the waves.

Fantastic little getaway with my wife for our anniversary. Everything you need is right there with a stunning view of the ocean. Only thing I would recommend is possibly a complimentary coffee, tea and sugar. Other than that, really nice little gem you have there and we are definitely going to be back.

The apartment is really cold even if all the windows are closed. There is a very small heater and underfloor heating that does not work. No electric blanket? For the location of the accommodation and the price we paid, we at least expected decent bath towels. Furthermore, we haven't even slept on the bed yet and were instructed in the booklet of all possible stains on the bedclothes (e.g. make-up, etc.) that would be deducted from the damage deposit, does not make one feel very welcome with your precious vacation time and also made us wonder if the bedding was ever properly washed in the first place. The WiFi didn't work (even after we reported it and rebooted at the request of Langebaan Holiday Homes was then told they would have to send a technician and we didn't fancy this during our holiday. This should have worked and been tested before we checked in. In today's times faulty WiFi is unacceptable especially in this price range. Lastly, it was made very clear that one has to make one's own plan during load shedding, they do not provide candles, flashlights, etc. Other guesthouses offers alternative solutions such as battery power during load shedding.

The weekend was very nice. Accommodation sits in an incredibly beautiful place. We really enjoyed the stoep with braai. Couldn't have asked for a better view. Will go there again for sure.

I booked this place for my parents as a surprise, they came back and could not stop complimenting the breathtaking views as well as the calming sounds of the sea, they also could not stop talking about the friendliness and excellent service which they have received during their stay! Location was something special and the facilities and equipment unbeatable. The pack of ice in the freezer was a welcome surprise!

Ideal accommodation for 2 people who like tranquility. Unit is well appointed and spacious with the most beautiful sea view. Stone throw from beach and very safe for swimming. Lovely area for walking and saw variety of bird species. Very good security and access control.

Excellently equipped, fantastic location!
The crockery wasn't clean. Just one toilet roll for 5 nights. Only medium sized bath towels, no smaller towels. The blinds don't close properly. Room gets a lot of light.
It had been the nicest place. Beautiful view. It was close to everything, the place itself was modern and had everything. We were literally on the beach. I will go back again and again.

We had a wonderful stay in Merlot. It's an open-plan place by the sea. Amazing view and its location was ideal. One thing I would suggest is that they put a big loose rug in the place, especially in the winter, so it creates a warmer feel. Other than that, we didn't experience any other problems.
I would recommend Merlot, but not in winter. It's just simply too cold because type of roof without any insulation. The entire roof surface was wet from the condensation and the room was dripping. The bedding was terribly cold and damp through the night and slept heavily. Day 2 we had the small heater blow hot air all day and through the night which made it more livable to sleep or walk barefoot on tiles. But hey, that's how one learns.
What is nicer than nice even more nice where you can lie on your bed in the morning and look at the sea. It was absolutely fantastic! Three cheers for your service and the place is fantastic!

The key- and breakage deposit is normally refunded within 10 business days after departure.

Any commercial activity, team building, party or disco, 21st birthday party, Matric gatherings (even after their final exams), bachelor parties and hen parties.
