The majority of our guests are people travelling to Rustenburg to work in the area. We are however perfectly situated to accommodate guests, travelling between South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. Due to our close proximity to Gauteng as well as pleasant weather, we are also the answer to weekend and holiday guests, looking for a reasonable place to stay whilst exploring the area and enjoying the many things to do around town.

We have been relocated. Was under the impression price includes breakfast. Breakfast was available at an astronomical R160 per person. TV was not connected and had to struggle by myself.
The room was small for 3 people (family room). It is not well maintained, and there was even mold on the bathroom ceiling. The towels that were provided did not smell nice/clean either.
Nice area close to everything.
Room was very comfortable and the service was good. The meals were just unbelievably expensive. Breakfast was extra at R125 per person and dinner was R180 per person. Nothing special or luxurious and exotic. These prices one would expect to pay in Sandton or at 5 star place in the city with really special food. The food was very tasty but definitely not worth this price.

We had 2 rooms. The disabled room is not very practical, the handles at the toilet are not in the right place to use. The shower was broken and the water ran down the wall in a jet, so we had to stand against the wall to shower. The water from the shower soaked the whole bathroom, the chair against the wall could not be used because there is no hand spread. Furthermore, there was water dripping from the roof in the kitchen area. The rest was good. The 2nd room next door is very nicely laid out and looks beautiful. The shower was quite difficult to understand, maybe a note could be posted on the wall with instructions. We could not reach reception by phone, both numbers either rang or went to message. It can be a problem if something happens and the office cannot be reached, my son had to walk to the office himself every time for information. The cleaners clean the rooms very nicely.
The place is most welcoming. The area is safely guarded. Friendly owners. The price is very reasonable for a beautiful place like that and the service is very good.
Very professional and friendly service with booking and arrival at guest house. Guest house was clean and tidy with all the facilities needed. Our three colleagues shared the accommodation and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend Dorpshuis and not just for those on holiday.

Bed was a bit noisy but our stay was really pleasant. I would certainly book with them again.
Our room was very nice. The shower head was not fully functional. Had to pay for second breakfast, after I assumed it was done on the original booking.
Our stay was excellent and the staff was very friendly. We wish we could have breakfast. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Everything was perfect. 1. We did ask for two single beds and unfortunately got a double bed. 2. The DStv did not work all the time and there was no remote control.

Only 1 problem in the kitchen - there are cockroaches in the drawers. I don't really like to give such feedback, but really otherwise we had a very nice stay and slept peacefully. Thank you very much again.

Our stay at Ons Dorpshuis was pleasant and without problems. Location is very central in Rustenburg. For families with children it is ideal - there is not much accommodation available that is suitable for families.

We were met by staff at the gate and after checking in he showed us the room.
Staying in the Village House was comfortable and practical if you still want to do work in your room. Everything is of good quality and the location is conveniently close to restaurants and the business center.
We had a very nice stay and the service was great. Staff friendly and room clean and neat with everything we needed. Will definitely recommend!

Ons Dorpshuis is centrally located, close to amenities. It is a family run establishment where the owners and staff are welcoming and friendly.
