The experience doesn't live up to the name.
Our experience was memorable from start to finish. The communication from our host was amazing and we had a personal welcome. You can expect magical mountain views, the best outdoor shower, wonderful hot tub and braai facilities - and all so private! It was good for the soul.
Great place with everything you are looking for. Pack your clothes and food and everything else is there.
We simply loved the glamping tent - it's perfectly kitted out for a family of 4. It was cold during our stay, but they had heaters and electric blankets available to keep us cosy. The hostess even sent over freshly made pancakes one rainy afternoon! The hot tub is always a highlight; the kids spent hours soaking in the tub. We ran and mountain biked on the farm, and you're only 15 minutes from Montagu where you can explore further. Perfect location. Thank you - we will be back!
We had a most enjoyable family break away. Everything was perfect, from the wood fired hot tub to the hanging deck rope hammock, to the bathtub and outside shower. All the creature comforts in a beautiful and restful setting.

What an incredible experience. Of all the places my wife and I have been, this was one of the best. We could just relax, whether it was in the hot tub or hammocks, or just do nothing. Would highly recommend it and the cleanliness of the accommodation and how it was equipped is great! We took advantage of their breakfast basket option. And it was so nice to know you could find and make everything and take nothing with you.

Absolutely the best! Everything was neat and tidy. The host is the best we've ever had. Just doing all the extras to make a person's stay so much more comfortable and less stressful. We will definitely visit the Ontevreden Glamping Tent very soon. If we must be honest, we enjoyed the stay much better than Africamps.

What a beautiful place! It's more beautiful than in the photos and exceeded all our expectations. We had the best time. Relax and lie down and watch the stars in the evening on the deck's hanging nets. Everything, but everything, was amazing. From the most beautiful bath in the bedroom to the hot tub and braai facilities with fire pit. The grass was so beautifully green. Even our dog had the time of his life. Friendly service. Very private and quiet. Everything was just perfect.

Amazing place and view! A perfect place if you want to glamp in the winter, sit next to the fire/boma, swim in a 'hot tub' and crawl into a warm (electric blanket) bed!

What an incredible experience it was. We were completely 'in awe' with the beautiful view from the tent. One simply forgets very quickly about the rest of the world. Definitely one of our new favorite places.

The glamping tent has a hot tub and will always be full when receiving guests.From entering the main road guests will be driving a dirt road, approximately 2 km. Most of the year the road can be driven with almost any vehicle, the host will not advise someone with a sports motor to drive this dirt road.
What guests must keep in mind is that when it rains it can be difficult to get to the tent because they need to cross a smallish river and they might get stuck so in the winter we would advise guests to drive a 4x2 or 4x4.
The property is pet-friendly, guests should keep in mind that an additional cleaning fee is charged when they bring their pets along.
