This is the ideal place to spend the night in Gobabis. Wonderfully located and everyone is super friendly and helpful. We had a great time with our host.

The room we paid for wasn't up to standard and we had to pay more to get a better room.
Never in your life book into the guesthouse's pocket-sized rooms. We were very kindly informed that we could get better rooms for more money, but that was the only friendly service we got from the owner. The house where the pocket fitting rooms are in looks terrible. Coffee, tea and sugar are provided. For our 7 guests there, there were only 5 mugs and 3 glasses in the kitchen. I will never stay at the guest house again.
I will not refer anyone there. The front where other guests stayed was up to standard, the back side not at all.
Had a professional, friendly and hospitable reception on arrival. Secure parking. Clean and tidy rooms. Breakfast was delicious with the relaxing music of the owner on the piano in the dining room.
I can definitely recommend Onze Rust Guest House. Owner very pleasant and helpful. Told us about other holiday spots in Namibia which we really appreciated. Breakfast was good and we had no complaints.
The rooms were neat and clean. The air conditioner worked, it was very hot. Dinner is not served, but By Die Dam restaurant provided a delicious dinner.
Guest house and room were clean and tidy. Although the town had a water problem, the staff facilitated our stay by bringing water. Just a suggestion: rather provide guests with closed coffee, tea, sugar bags instead. in containers.
It was a pleasant stay where we could safely unhook our forest wagon and connect to power. It wasn't a bad experience.
The beds were comfortable and the unit clean and neat. No glasses or forks were in the unit. Management must consider turning on the fridges when they expect guests, for the guests that drive far and immediately want to put their food in the fridge. Braai facilities need attention.
My first impression of the place was good. The receptionist was not helpful at all and I did not understand what she meant. The host was very pleasant and gave us a lot of tips to improve our journey.
The upgraded rooms are a bit more expensive but worth taking. The budget rooms are shared in a house and no air-con.
The room I booked, as seen on the website, I had to pay R200 in advance because it is supposed to be a luxury room. We could hardly find our way in the bathroom. Had to open the door to get dressed. There is no sink to wash cutlery, only 2 mugs and 2 small glasses. The fridge wasn't on either.
Was very unhappy, would definitely not choose to stay there again. The staff was very incompetent. We called earlier in the afternoon to say we would be there at 22:00, and we kept our word. On arrival we were treated condescendingly, and only given a room. And in the morning when we got up, our children were treated badly and no breakfast was arranged after we confirmed when we got there that we would pay extra for breakfast. We then decided, because no breakfast had been made, that we would rather hit the road again after our journey on, but first wanted a cup of coffee before we drove, then we were simply very unfit and said we would not have coffee don't get
