The cottage has a great location. There's a comfortable deck on the one side and a stoep with braai and tables in front, for evenings. Get the fire going, and wait for the sunset, you'll love loadshedding (even though there are backups for lights and WiFi). It's a short drive to the main road, beaches and a good selection of eateries close by. Just the ticket for a relaxing week(end) and lots of fresh sea air.
We were received very kindly by our host and hostess who made us feel right at home. The cottage is fully equipped and spacious and attention has also been paid to keep it comfortable for guests in case of load shedding, with a large gas stove and good emergency lighting in the bedroom and sitting/kitchen area. The stoep with its braai is also a winner. The view from Onze Uitzicht is incredibly beautiful and cannot be captured with a photo. We enjoyed our stay here immensely.
Lovely hostess and gentleman who make an extra effort to make guests feel at home. The unit is very neat, spacious and well equipped with all the necessities. We couldn't get enough of the blissful atmosphere and fairytale view. Very nice stay. Would definitely recommend!

Nico and Ina are very friendly and helpful and spare no effort for their guests. The unit is spacious, comfortable, spotless and has everything you need. The environment is special with a beautiful view of the bay. The hospitality, the tranquility, the wild animals and the location make "Onze Uitzicht" a perfect choice for a getaway.
On arrival, we were greeted by Nico and Ida, such a lovely, sweet couple. They assured us that we could contact them any time of the day or night if we needed anything. The accommodation was fully furnished, with all the necessary amenities, from top to bottom. Definitely one of the best self-catering places I've ever had the privilege of staying at. Highly recommended, and might just retire in St Helena Bay after this experience.

Onze Uitzicht is a very neat, modern and comfortable overnight apartment. Beautiful view of the sea. Nico and Ina received us very kindly and there is everything one needs. Very comfortably furnished, clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend the place and stay there again in the future! The KitKats on the bed were a bonus.
Ina het ons dadelik this laat voel. Pragtige plek baie mooi uitsig, asook die voëls en diere wat kom. Netjies en gemaklik en van alles in die huis. Dit is 'n plek om te gaan. As ek weer kan sal ek soontoe gaan.

There are not enough photos to truly describe the view. The silence is wonderful. The owners are lovely people. And the animals that come to visit are something to experience. Only thing I would add is maybe a small television on the premises. But no one could ask for a nicer place to stay.
The excellent accommodation has a beautiful view of the bay, located in a very beautiful environment and the guinea fowl, pheasants, muskrat and diver come to visit regularly. We will definitely visit again!

Nice stay. Fantastic view. Dead silent. No noise from vehicles. Onze Uitzicht is very well furnished with everything you need and can find. It's very thoughtful to have Peaceful Sleep, fly poison, a small ax to make fine sticks for the barbecue, etc. have available. The coffee machine was a winner.

The most welcoming, warm hearted owners welcomed us at Onze Uitzicht. The place has the most breathtaking view. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
The cottage and surrounds surpassed all expectations. It is a comfortable cottage that is adequately equipped for self-catering. The bathroom and bedroom are tastefully decorated and very modern. Magnificent views of the bay can be enjoyed from several vantage points inside and outside the cottage. Aside from whale watching, you can see small animals such as mongooses, tortoises and several kinds of birds darting about in the garden. And with lovely hosts, it makes for a memorable stay.
Will definitely go again. Everything was spotless and tidy, you can tell it's a new apartment. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home.
The best, in St Helena Bay! It was a lovely, tranquil getaway weekend for us.
