Unfortunately we found another place to stay for one night because there was no water. As we learned from the owner, there is no water during load shedding, but we did go to the guest house while there was electricity, and there was still no water. They did bring us 15L of water in jugs, but it is not enough at all for basic use for 3 people.
It was a very nice stay. The atmosphere is fantastic. I think they just need to change the bed; it is in need of a makeover.
My compliments, was the only guest house I used in the last 10 days that had a bed on which I could stretch my full length of 1.94m without my feet sticking out!
Everything was fine but load shedding caught us off guard. There was no provision of a battery light.

A lovely, very spacious and well-appointed bachelor type room with a nice decorative flair. Also, an outside area for relaxing in a nice garden. Close to shops and main roads. Excellent for a stopover. Friendly and caring host.

The hostess and her son are very friendly and the room clean and tidy. Upon our arrival, the hostess warned that the shower was leaking and we should just use the bath instead. The bath's tap opens on the edge of the bath and washes the floor, so had to use the hand shower to pour in bath water. Bathroom needs a lot of attention. Unfortunately, there are also mice or rats in the roof which are a nuisance. Would appreciate if there is a canopy under which one can park and preferably a car gate that can lock.
Need outdoor recreation from public view. Suggest partitioning for more privacy.

Very nice weekend, hospitable and friendly.
The room is beautiful, spacious, neat and clean with beautiful decor and linen. The beds are probably the best we've slept on at guest houses. There is a bath and a shower in the bathroom, all nice and clean. One part of the room has the basics for coffee and tea making and a microwave and small fridge. Janine was very helpful and friendly and told about the confluence of the Orange and Vaal rivers and how to get there. We will definitely stay there again and recommend the place to friends.
I would recommend it to any person. It was all pretty neat and clean and people are very friendly and made me feel at home.
Hostess was very friendly and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Even lamps provided for national power failure.

Easily found the destination and was kindly received, I felt wonderfully at home. Mattress was perfect and had more than enough space. Aircon was fantastic.
The overnight rooms were equipped with everything one would need to stay for even longer than 1 night. Beds were comfortable and ensured a good night's rest. We even had an electric blanket to keep us wonderfully warm against the cold.
Very pleasant place with comfortable resting space. Very friendly people and good service.
