The spacious house comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and the other 2 bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The 3 bedrooms share the use of a bathroom with a bath, a shower, and a toilet. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as a kettle. There are indoor braai facilities and guests can bring along their own wood or firewood can be purchased on the farm.
Oorvloed Guesthouse is just 2.5 km from the river for fishing and swimming.
Please note that a gravel road leads to the accommodation. Guests need to enquire regarding the condition of the road before arrival as it is subject to change.

6 guests' feedbackIt was great to leave the city and to enjoy travelling on gravel roads and seeing the fantastic work done by our farmers.
What an amazing enclosed big yard, perfect for our 2 dogs. Loved the dirt road drive and the house has everything you might need and more, plus extra rechargeable lights and a gas stove for load shedding. Loved sitting outside at night watching the stars and the ferryboat ride a few km down the road was just such a bonus! Can't wait to return.
The service is excellent if something is needed. The guest house is spacious and offers everything expected and more!
We stayed over a long weekend and only saw a few vehicles driving down to the campsite. On the morning we left, the farm workers were going about their day. You have the whole house to yourself. Well equipped. Small farm pool to cool off in. Loads of birds in the garden. Ginger kitty came to visit every day.
Adele came to welcome us personally and was very friendly and ready to answer questions about the area. Everything you would need was in the house (with extra basics like coffee etc, and the rusks were delicious!) - everything was clean and the rooms spacious! And the no TV was a bonus! The dirt road was not bad at all. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend the place to those who want to relax and be peaceful.
