Stay was extremely nice and the unit was top notch. Everything close and convenient. Friends and children were all very happy and happy.
I had a nice stay, thank you. There are small faults that can be fixed, such as the leaking shower faucet and the leaking toilet, but the air conditioner makes up for all the faults.
Basic amenities. Beautiful view. Could do with some renovation, eg. out of 4 power sockets 3 don't work. Water from the shower was leaking badly from somewhere onto the floor in the main room and there was no mop to mop up the large pool of water. No toilet paper, so bring your own. Friendly host.
No one to meet us. The owner's phone is off. The floor is dirty. There is no bulb in the bathroom light, minimal crockery, and cutlery. The plugs are not working in the kitchen.
Cobwebs everywhere, 2 showers only 1 works, leaking water, shower head can't move, other shower has no tap or head, fridge leaks water, door can't close due to broken fridge shelves, broken bread knife (Lw. Only large knife), only 1 tall glass, Battered egg pan with broken handle, battered serving spoon, rusted and burnt. No deep bowls, no can opener.
Not what was expected. Beds were very uncomfortable. Had to provide candles myself for loadshedding.
We also only slept there the one night. They opened the dam's floodgates and we then had to evacuate.
It was nice and quiet and we caught 28 fish in 1 and a half days.
We enjoyed the unit, there was enough sleeping space. People friendly and we had fun fishing. There may just be an option for cleaning services with all the men who are not used to going on holiday without their wives. Washing the dishes was a fight!
We would like to go visit again some other time.

Lots of fish, lovely coolness, very nice view.
Children should not be allowed to enter no. 1 to stay. It sounds like zebras in migration time as they jump and run. We could hardly get any sleep.
Nice place, but a problem with bats in the house as it has a lapa roof, but they can be removed, thus the strong urine smell of the rodents in the first room. Shower curtains dirty.
Beautiful surroundings and nice and quiet. Very neat.
Water was nice and hot for shower, fridge was cold for the beer, kettle for coffee and air conditioner works.
When we arrived, there was no water in the entire town and the one room's light didn't work. Fortunately there was some water in the JoJo tank with outside toilet, shower and tap facilities. Oom Lukie also provided a spotlight we could use for the room. Then there was a small bat in another room! and later on there was load shedding for about 2 hours. There are two bathrooms inside, however only one working shower. The consolation was that the aircons worked well in the rooms we ended up occupying. What an experience on a Christmas eve.
The aircon needs to be fixed, and the shower door. Other than that everything was perfect.
Basic cleanliness must be practiced. The grass is long. No bins are cleaned. Stand and stink up the place. Garbage lying by the pool, lee chemical bottles. Long grass. Outside bathrooms storage space open and simply untidy. No maintenance is done. Shower leaks in unit water fills whole place. Toilet breaks every time you flush the toilet. Small things like drilling the toilet roll holder into the wall are not done, so the toilet roll keeps falling off. Honestly think more attention should be paid to cleaning, cutting grass outside, picking up rubbish and washing bins.
You can't catch fish at all because of rocks and mud and it's a lot of walking up and down from the porch, but the photos don't show it. My 4 months pregnant with daughter could only lie down after the 1st day.
This is great fishing accommodation.
It was a very nice stay to rest before we start working again.
Nothing is offered compared to other overnight facilities. Not even toilet paper provided. No sink plug. Sink tap wrongly connected - cold when hot and hot when cold. No bedding. Crickets in room making noise all night. Dangerous pins that protrude from one bed and can cause injury, especially to children. No security for the night - even sliding gate remained open. No value for money! All other places provided tea, coffee, sugar, milk, towels and bedding. Even soaps and cookies. There was only duvet for each bed. Fridge wasn't even on - so also of no use when you had to buy milk to keep it cold.
