Oppie Draai is a very good choice for the traveler looking for a place to stay in Oudtshoorn. The reception is friendly and the hosts do everything in their power to make the place as comfortable as possible. All accessories are available and the location excellent. It's worth staying at Oppie Draai. Definitely recommended.
Everything was very nice, the only thing that was bad is that there was not enough hot water for me and my girlfriend. After I bathed in very little water, there was no hot water for her and we had to boil a kettle so that she could bathe in only a little water. I can't imagine that 4 people will be able to sleep and bathe there.

Amenities are clean and tidy, and the hot tub is a nice bonus! The room has everything you need, but a kitchenette would be appropriate to make it a good self-catering place.
We booked this particular place because the pictures looked so beautiful. When we got there, we were allocated the wrong room. I booked for two people but they fixed the room for one. We also chose this guest house because it would be nice and warm in Oudtshoorn, but when we asked about it, they said that the swimming pool was too dirty and that the water was very cold. The air conditioner did not work and neither did the bathroom light. We decided that we would rather not spend every day at the guest house, but only to sleep there. The office which is right next to the rooms didn't help much either, as we were woken up by office chatter next to our window, early in the morning.
We were kindly received at the guest house. The accommodation has everything we needed. Nice, cozy outdoor area for barbecuing. Really appreciated the extras that were in the room - there was a 5L water, small bottles of water and coke in the fridge, as well as light 'snacks' available in the room. It's small things like this that make a big impact in making you feel even more welcome. Just a shame we didn't have a chance to test out the hot tub.
The owner is friendly and goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The property is very secure. The room was comfortable, clean and we had everything we needed. We highly recommend Oppi Draai and will definitely stay over again on our next holiday.

Alas, a guest house that knows what it's about. A guest house with full DStv, refreshments in the room without a price list of what it will cost, and must hear it's free! Really a place to recommend, but be warned, you'll be hard pressed to leave.

There were six of us in the group and we really enjoyed the stay. The fact that a swimming pool and hot tub were available as well as a braai area with packed wood made it feel like a nice holiday. We were really impressed with the meal and couldn't believe that all the extra food and drinks in the fridge were already included in the price. We will go out there again.

We were welcomed by Frans and Amanda and from the arrival until we left, they did everything to make us feel at home. The welcome basket in the room and everything offered for free in the fridge was more than anything we have ever come across. The facilities were clean, tidy and serviceable. The breakfast was on par with any hotel plus the personal service made it more special. It was wonderfully quiet and very pleasant. We will come here again and tell everyone about this gem of a place to visit!
Value for money accommodation, very tidy and the owners - Amanda and Frans, are very friendly! A delicious variety of breakfast was served every morning and we were able to relax wonderfully in the Jacuzzi. Amanda and Frans went out of their way to make us feel at home and made an effort with everything. Pamper yourself in rooms with a spa bath and also a free mini-bar! We will definitely visit there again.
