We were with a large number of family members (from the Netherlands) and everyone really enjoyed the stay. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The units were well equipped, with working WiFi and a nice braai area with table and chairs. We would recommend Oppi Rotse anytime.
Would recommend Loeries Nest as each bedroom has its own bathroom and shower. They came to clean our place every day, so we could have a nice vacation.

Quiet area and very nice in and around the place.
There was no table and chairs to eat at. No wine glasses. Hot water supply to showers insufficient. Either ice cold or boiling hot! Towels were delivered in short supply every day.

With only one access route to St Lucia, St Lucia is very safe and as a conservation area a must visit. Also feel free to drive to Cape Vidal one day, i.e. tarred road all the way there.

We were here during lockdown and it was mid week so we had the place to ourselves until the weekend. Perhaps there would have been more of a vibe if there had been other guests. The communal braai area and the area near the pool lends itself to social gatherings which, in good weather, would be fantastic!
It was a really great stay and would highly recommend it. The omelette for breakfast is really great.
For me it was exactly what I was looking for, I just wanted to sleep one night. Unfortunately couldn't stay until breakfast, I still had a long way to go, so was out early.

We had fantastic service. Breakfast was delicious, people were very friendly, were there if needed, but we had total privacy as well.
The guesthouse is beautiful. It looks exactly as it does in the photos. The apartment was clean and tidy and the fire pit in the back yard was a bonus. We had a great time staying and visiting. The prices are very good and I would recommend it to anyone looking for affordable accommodation. Many thanks to the owner who welcomed us with open arms and immediately made us feel at home. We will definitely stay there again.
Place is beautiful, we had a very nice stay. People were very friendly. Couldn't use the Jacuzzi, didn't know we had to ask the morning if we could use it the evening. Some of the kitchenware was a little dirty and we found a big cockroach one night. Will definitely consider Oppi Rotse again, had a nice stay.

The house is stunning and there is enough parking for everyone. The self-catering apartment we stayed in was large and beautiful with DStv and a full kitchen. It has a nice swimming pool and Jacuzzi to relax in. The rooms have aircon and the beds are comfy and neat. It's also very close to the beach and very peaceful.
We stayed at Oppi Rotse for a week whilst on holiday. The accommodation was beautifully cleaned everything and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is such a privilege that we could stay here. I would strongly recommend Oppi Rotse for a break.
We waren verbaasd toe we daar aankwamen dat het zo leuk gebouwd was. Een leuk zwembad en een Jacuzzi maar het fijnste was de inmens grote tafel met banken onder dak waar je heerlijk kan zitten en BBQen! Min puntje is dat in het huis de vaste bank erg ongemakkelijk zit. Verder alles prima.

I was very unhappy when we got there and place doesn't look like in pictures. I asked and got confirmation that I was looking for two single beds, but on arrival it wasn't like that. There was only a double bed, and it wouldn't have worked for my teenage son and daughter. Photos of the place look more beautiful than it is and will be updated with. There were probably things mentioned on the web that were not available at all, such as e.g. the pool table and we were disappointed with it.

We had B&B 1. Breakfast was a winner. Delicious food and so fresh! Room was stunning, clean and neat. Jacuzzi and swimming pool for use at any time!
Our stay was very pleasant and we will definitely book there again. Very neat and well furnished and the private braai area we had was a nice place for the little ones to ride their kick scooters while we braaied. We were pleasantly surprised.

The unit had 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Nice soft, thick towels were provided. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. And very important for the North Coast climate, equipped with air conditioning. The kitchen area is small, but well appointed. There is a lovely braai area and swimming pool with a lovely garden where you can relax. I would definitely recommend Oppi Rotse.

It was wonderful to be able to spend a break with my family at Oppi Rotse. Nice swimming facilities, nicest big braai area as a real farmer likes it! The place was always tidy in the mornings, the rooms are cleaned nicely and the staff are friendly with smiles all day long! Suggestions would perhaps be that towels are changed daily, as well as swimming towels. Our unit had a big mosquito problem, but Valerie came right away to hear what was going on, what she could help with and was always so helpful and friendly. You will definitely see the De Witts family from Swaziland again! Thank you very much for a nice time with you at Oppi Rotse! We definitely recommend the place for any type of person for a peaceful, nice break.

Comfortable rooms with nice living area. Great braai facilities. We didn't spend a lot of time in St Lucia, so didn't explore much of the town but it is situated close to the things we needed.

They just need to fix the fans, it's damn hot in the front house and the fan doesn't work. The room is nice with air conditioning. Barbecue may be a problem if people from both apartments barbecue. There is only one braai between the two places. Swimming pool water will be nice in winter time, but very warm in the heat. It doesn't cool down very much. Other than that, it was very nice.
They gave us a bigger room for free just because we wanted to barbecue.
The friendliness of the staff and Mike and Valerie was fantastic. The breakfast was top notch. I would definitely go back, but for a little longer! Was one of our best vacations! I recommend Oppirotse to anyone who really wants to have a great vacation.
Oppi Rotse is a wonderful place to relax in the ocean. The guest house has a cool pool and Jacuzzi, a large number of dishes and grills. The staff are polite and do their work on time. There is one drawback: towels and linen not changed for the whole week of our holiday.
Terribly beautiful, spacious and tidy! My whole family and I had a very comfortable stay. The rooms and living area are large and well equipped. Kitchen is a little tight, but there was more than what was needed for any vacationer. We will definitely rest at Oppi Rotse again. Thank you very much for an unforgettable holiday.

It was a pleasant stay and very well equipped place. It's safe and not in the town like many other places. We had a great stay and everyone is very friendly. Much of the accommodation in town is very open and parking is also open and obvious, but here the vehicles were very safe and we also felt safe.
Really appreciated the privacy. We and our little one were very much at home and nights were quiet and peaceful. Loved the layout of the accommodation and everything that was needed was provided. Will definitely go again.

A very warm welcome from the hostess.nice rooms and the best bed - with lovely fresh linens - we stayed in on our 17 day tour. We were looking forward to the hot tub which had been turned on for us,(which was very nice), but it unfortunately had too much solution in it - so it wasn't pleasant as it could have been. Good central location, and it will be a great place to go in the summer with a group of friends.
