The accommodation was well kitted out. The host was friendly, helpful and forthcoming of any information about the surroundings that we required.
Oppi See is a very cute place, very neat and clean and value for money. The owner is very hospitable and friendly. It is walking distance from the sea, so leave your shoes/patches at the cottage and enjoy the sea sand under your feet. That's how close it really is. If you have come to rest/relax, this is the place for sure. It is so peaceful with the sea in the background that you can hear and with early morning walks by the sea, you just feel like the day.

We were warmly welcomed by Sylvia, where she took us through the accommodation and gave us instructions. The place is opposite the sea and very central. Walking distance to most amenities such as restaurants, the supermarket and the beach. Cleanliness was probably one of the big comments, every area and item was silver clean. During loadshedding, the indoor braai kept us warm and provided light. There was also a lamp with a battery that helps out if the power is out as well as gas powered dusters if needed. And for those who are attached to the internet (even if you try to break away and switch off) the wifi has always remained available. After a weekend we were rested, but regret not staying another night longer. But for that we will make up to use Oppi See's facilities again in the future.
Oppi See was one of the nicest getaways we've had in a long time. From the first step, Sylvia was hospitable and friendly. The unit is extremely neat and very well equipped. We will definitely visit Oppi See again in the future.

Everything was convenient, very neat and very clean. This is important in Covid times. We felt very much at home and comfortable in Oppi See. Everything we needed was available. It was like a home away from home. We will definitely go again. Thanks to Sylvia for the additional treat on the bed. It was delicious!

The hostess was friendly and very accommodating. She had little treats waiting for us and made special arrangements for my 1 year old daughter to come along. The location is a stone's throw from the beach. You go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
The location is perfect, it's by the beach and the sea can be smelled and seen. The house is beautifully furnished, it has everything you need. Delicious indoor barbecue. Outside is a table and umbrella. We really enjoyed it.
The neat and clean place to stay is nice and spacious with really everything you need for a nice stay. The indoor barbecue is of course always a winner by the sea. Oppi See is very close to the main beach and it is a pleasant environment to walk around.

The unit has, for us two adults, the necessary amenities and accessories. Everything very neat and clean. DStv is available. The location of Oppi See makes it very accessible. Close to the shopping centers and within walking distance to the extensive beach and beautiful, well maintained coastal walks, the new harbor and an excellent information bureau. And of course, the quintessential West Coast hospitality of the landlady was paramount. She spared no effort to make our stay very pleasant.

The positives are: - accommodations is well positioned and is literally across the road to the beach; - kitchen is very neat and well stocked with everything you may need for self catering; - bedroom was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed; - lounge is beautifully decorated with DStv and has a built in fire place - perfect. The negatives are: - the noise factor mostly due to the beach road traffic; - for us security was a factor as there are no burglar bars on window/doors (regardless of the fact of no prior incidence on property); - would be nice if there was free WiFi. Besides all - we will be back and thank you, Sylvia. I would highly recommend your facility to family and friends.

The owner made an extra effort to accommodate us and it was easy and convenient for us.
The fact that Sylvia Duckitt went to such great lengths to make us feel at home just made it that much more enjoyable! It was the little things like a bottle of wine, delicious bottle of honey and apricot jam (delicious!) that made it all worthwhile!
