It would be nice if there were soap, towels, and more toilet paper. Otherwise, it's a nice location close to the beach.
Loadshedding schedule or location was not passed on. Was without water for a day (counsel was trucking water in, but could not keep up with the demand of holidaymakers). Was without power for a day (Meter box exploded). There is no provision for alternative cooking other than the braai area. Some gas equipment would be nice as takeaway is not an option for kids with celiac. The Wi-Fi was not working and we had to ask for the password. Location is good but we where there at the wrong time, maybe.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bydibaai. Will book the one next door since the beautiful views can be enjoyed while braaing with family/friends. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. Close to the beach.

We enjoyed Buffalo Bay. The venue has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Suitable for a large family with small kids.
The rooms are very small and cramped. It is not appropriate for the amount of people indicated on the ad. Bydibaai's dishwasher was not clean, there is something wrong with it. The floors looked clean to the eye. But if you look under your feet it is pitch black dirt. The rooms with the single beds in Oribaai's mattresses are so thin you can feel the bed's boards. When booking a place, it is very important that quality mattresses and linen are provided. Furthermore, our family really enjoyed it.
Wonderful stay, one drawback was cockroaches and a very damp smell in Bydibaai, otherwise great.
Ants in kitchen. Cockroaches in kitchen and bathroom. Toaster is faulty and dirty. No batteries in TV remote. No braai tongs. Ceiling in lounge is full of mould. Big plate on the stove does not work. Bedding is old and tired and fitted sheet has no elastic anymore. Ice block tray found u der the sink with a bottle of weedkiller on top of it. I wouldn't stay there again. The units are so on top of each other there is no privacy. No umbrella on stoep makes it a no go zone. Great location but I wouldn't recommend this establishment.

We enjoyed the stay so much. The most beautiful view to look out on the ocean. Although it would've been helpful to be informed about bringing toilet paper, salt and pepper and other condiments.
We have stayed at Bydibaai before and it was fantastic. That's why we discussed it again. But when we arrived, we were told by the caretaker that there were already other people in there. She put us in another facility for the weekend. It wasn't bad, but we were disappointed that we didn't get the place we knew, booked and paid for. Please help that such a double booking does not happen again, otherwise Bydibaai and Buffelsbaai are a wonderful drop-off location.
The only problem was our rude neighbors who made noise until the early hours of the morning and hung out on our porch when we weren't there. Perhaps the house is divided into too many units which make the rooms very small with your neighbors facing you. Only suitable for a small family and not more than one family, also due to only one bathroom.
Wonderful location and view over the bay. The parking space, if more than one vehicle, is a problem. Otherwise, good value for money and would definitely recommend the accommodation to anyone.
On arrival the house was quite dirty. Ants was sprayed probably earlier the week and left for us to clean from the countertop. The furniture is dated and bedding is old and washed out. The mattresses are old. When we woke up the first morning there was no water in the hot water taps. When we complained they immediately opened up the top unit for us to use the shower, however nothing was done about the problem in our unit. Even though we now had a warm shower it was uncomfortable to stay in one unit and shower in another. The shower drain did not drain properly, so we were standing ankle depth in water while showering. Unfortunately poor value for money. Would definitely not return to this property.

The location is excellent with a wonderful view. Access to the beach and shop is easy - really a stone's throw away. Accommodation is comfortable (not luxurious) and therefore very well priced for the location. Will definitely use the accommodation again. Just get a grill please.
Will absolutely stay there again at the same unit. Unfortunately there are some items that need attention. No towels were available. Flying to our destination makes it difficult to make provision for extra unforeseen items on arrival, especially after hours. Bedding was not clean. In spare room beach sand still on blankets. Half toilet roll for two toilets available. Overall, we are impressed with friendliness of agent, the breathtaking view and the friendliness of visitors!

Neat, clean, comfortable, convenient. Security was constantly patrolling the entire bay, so we knew we were safe. A short walk down literally 2 sets of stairs) then we were on the loveliest beach. We could relax wonderfully. What a lovely getaway weekend. Thank you very much.
