The host gave a very friendly welcome on arrival and explained all the amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. It's central to everything in Knysna.

My room was very comfortable, and the breakfast (cold buffet, hot meal cooked to order) and all other services were of a very good standard. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. My only area of concern was the parking: there was space for two cars on level ground, but the rest of the parking area was on a steep slope - one needed to be a confident driver to manoeuvre there. (The area seemed quiet, so maybe it is also safe enough to park outside the accommodation. I am not qualified to judge this, but I did see some other cars parked in the road.)

Extremely neat and beautiful home. Was kindly received and taken to our room. Very neat and comfortable room. We were in Falcon with 2 single beds. Room is too small to take a double bed, so it makes sense for 2 single beds. Unfortunately, our air conditioner remote control didn't work 100%, and we had to get on a chair to turn it on or off. At breakfast, the only table that was set was outside, and on a cold winter morning, it was not acceptable to me that the larger groups were placed inside and us outside. Probably the staff could have made a place for us inside. On a summer morning outside will be perfect, but not in the middle of winter. Breakfast was tasty and the kitchen staff great, so we braved the cold and will consider Oranje again next time.

The establishment ticks all my boxes, except for one major pitfall and that is load shedding. I know it is difficult and expensive, but I cannot come into a place after a day's work and be in the dark with nothing working, no internet, cold (it's mid-winter).
Quiet area still close to center of town. Beautiful view and neat facilities.
The room is clean and tidy. Double sink in the bathroom with a shower and a bath. There is even a vanity kit, shower caps, soaps and a nice smelling pot set out. A surprise was that, for the price, an excellent breakfast was presented. The hostess is friendly and helpful. Our vehicle sleeps behind a security gate with cameras that work and can be seen by the guests at any time. All doors to the rooms are kept permanently locked. I will visit the place again anytime.

Good area and neat accommodation. Slightly less private than we expected. Guesthouse can also consider introducing better alternatives during load shedding. This is a guest house that is permanently open to visitors, so we feel that alternative power supply should be made. If it was a private holiday home, which was made available, I would not have expected it.
Please fix the electricity problem asap.
The apartment was clean and neat. A good bed, bedding and soft pillows together with a great shower are so underrated and go a long way in making a stay exceptionally comfortable. Well done team for getting this spot on.

The best. Orange Inn needs your no. 1 be to choose. Most beautiful hostess. Unity is luxurious and has no shortage. Everything is beautifully clean and tidy. 10 out of 10.

Good location with a bit of a lagoon view and spacious rooms.
We were happy with the accommodation, everything was on point. The service was perfect.
We had a very comfortable stay in a stunning unit. The only inconvenience was we had cold water for the shower on Saturday after running the Knysna marathon - it was less pleasant. Apart from the cold water, it is a stunning place with a friendly hostess!

Neat and clean accommodation with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 2 nights. We were 2 pensioner couples. My wife and I slept on a sleeper couch. When the hostess heard that it was our 45th wedding anniversary, she made one of their luxury rooms available to us for the second night at no extra cost. It was an incredible gesture that we really appreciated. This is customer service at its finest! When we visit Knysna again, Orange Inn will be our preferred destination.
