We made a friend with the neighbourhood dog Ava.
My wife and I had a lovely stay at Orchard Corner. The décor and amenities were perfect for self-catering and eating at the many restaurants in Paarl. We loved the wood-fired plunge pool and spent every evening enjoying a glass of wine while soaking it all in.
The reception was friendly and we immediately felt at home. The silence, the fresh light and everything about the place was idyllic. We enjoyed our holes out - I give the place 100%.
It was so relaxing.
The cottage was nice, bathroom was amazing. A few touch ups needs to be done. We would've like to walk around, but the thought of the dogs made us a bit uneasy. The setting was nice. The premises door was a bit flimsy, could not lock as well as the cottage door.
Such a heartwarming welcome by Simonie. She was really so friendly and adorable. They even heated up the hot tub prior to arrival, they replenished extra wood for the next day which was so thoughtful. Really enjoyed the stay. Will definitely be back.
This was one of the most magical stays thus far. My partner and I travel often and do mini-getaways quarterly. This was a find that we knew we had to try. The host was so lovely and accommodating in terms of all our questions as well as when we arrived early. The farm is so tranquil with the most beautiful views and absolutely private. We loved the little touches and made use of every amenity available. We also really appreciated the use of the free-standing tub and hot tub. Plekkie is a small paradise. Everything was very neat and clean. I love the tub and walk-in shower. The hot tub and barbecue are perfect to end the day. Simon you are tops.
