Beautiful place and great sleep in the busy town.
Guesthouse is suitably located with ample off-street parking. Friendly and welcoming reception upon arrival. The rooms are lovely, clean and welcoming with all the necessities. A comfortable stay en route to your next destination.
We attended a wedding in Clocolan and only checked in at 23:30 with a friendly reception, clean room, safe parking and delicious breakfast the next morning. Please visit this place!

Oregon Cottage is advertised as a B&B. That is what we expected without having to enquire about breakfast. The next morning at 7:3- we came to locked doors.
If there is no other accommodation you can spend the night there, but if you have a choice, stay in a street other than the main street.
I enquired about the accessibility via email, because as a photographer I wanted to leave early. The owner and manager phoned me back and answered my questions and upgraded me to another room so that I don't have to carry my equipment that far, parked right in front of the room. Thank you.

Very friendly reception (even though it was wet and rainy), super neat rooms with everything you need for a nice stay. Truly good value for money, comfortable big room and bathroom. Lovely patio where you can sit and have a chat, and it's very safe. Will definitely stay there again, without a doubt.

The room was spacious, neat, clean and very comfortably furnished with TV, air-con and electric blankets for those unexpected snow sessions in November. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We, my husband and I, together with his brother and his wife, were very satisfied with our accommodation at Oregon Cottage. We have already recommended it to friends and would be very happy to come back again. Louis is friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotless. I'm not sure if there was back-up lighting for the power failure ... we did not need it, but others may have.
The neat and well equipped unit ensured a good night's rest after four long days on a motorbike through Lesotho. The hearty breakfast prepared by Louis, our host, was another highlight.
We stayed in Oregon Cottage for two nights in October 2016 to attend a wedding in Ficksburg. The room was neat and clean, the bed comfortable and the guesthouse safe and well-located so it was easy to find. We stayed in a room with a bathroom which had both a shower and a bath. Despite the water shortage in Ficksburg we could take a shower or a bath between 6 and 8 in the morning and 6 and 8 in the evening. The room also had a fridge with filtered drinking water. We only stayed the night (breakfast was not included in the tariff), but it was a good deal for the price we had paid.
Accommodation met basic needs. However, room was not ready upon arrival at 3pm. It appeared that the necessary follow-up had not been done.
