I found the location of Osler Place to be in the perfect spot. You have a view of a lagoon/lake in front of you.
We had a fantastic time. The tranquility and the comfort make the stay worthwhile. Would recommend to family or friends anytime. A recommendation is to install air conditioning, especially for the hot summer days.
The microwave oven was not clean and there was a broken glass at the braai area. WiFi was not good.
The house is a bit shabby. New painting, new sanitary ware is absolutely necessary.
The unit we were allocated (no 1) does not face the lagoon as all the photos indicate. Nor was it made clear when the unit was allocated to us that this was the case. Next to the units is an Agrimarket. Because our unit faces "backwards", you look down on their backyard which also makes a lot of noise with forklifts and trucks loading and unloading. Our unit's master bedroom bathroom has no privacy as there is no door between the room and the bathroom. Nor was it mentioned to us ahead of time. The shower floor is old and broken and needs to be checked. Furthermore, the unit is well equipped and has everything one needs.

The stay at Osler Places was very nice and very peaceful. I recommend it to any family looking to get away from the busy world. Breakfast was very good and the location of Osler Place is very nice as it is walking distance from everything. Our car was parked all weekend and we walked to everything.

Our accommodation was spacious and tidy. We would have preferred twin beds in two of the bedrooms as we were one married couple and three singles. I realize that's all that was available. The lovely bedding and beautiful bathrooms immediately made us feel at home. The friendly reception, helpfulness and warm sunny living room were welcoming.
We couldn't have asked for a better holiday accommodation. So clean and tidy, absolutely everything you need and too nice and warm in the cold winter with heater ready when we got there and nice electric blankets and cuddly warm duvets. The self-catering flat was airy and spacious. Decor was light and attractive. The sinks and counters are in need of refurbishment, but we were told that this is about to happen. The kitchen was equipped with most items except for a family sized coffee plunger. The washing machine and dishwasher would be really useful for a long holiday.

We and some friends chose Osler Place as our destination for a weekend getaway. Osler Place's customer service was very good and the location perfect. It is located in Stilbaai-Oos with walking distance to a nice restaurant and the river. The apartments were very neat and beautiful with a lovely large porch and braai for a nice time together. The rooms were also very nice and tidy and warmly furnished for the cool Stilbaai evenings. The kitchen was also nicely appointed with a dishwasher which was our wives' highlight. Thank you Osler Place! You will see us again!
Osler Place is a very nice holiday accommodation in beautiful surroundings. We were kindly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The accommodation was spacious, the furniture and decor stylish and appropriate for a holiday. The kitchen and living space are very well equipped, not only with the expected essentials, but also small luxuries beyond all expectations. We really didn't want to go back to our own home at all. Unfortunately we could only stay there one night, but we could see that it would be a lovely place to stay for a seaside holiday or long weekend in Stilbaai.

Large TV with selected DStv channels. The service was excellent with Juan going out of his way to return forgotten items to us.

We really enjoyed it. I would say the biking and walking along the river was the favourite part. The beach is beautiful, but necessarily so nice for teenagers in April (not a lot of people). For us the fewer people the better. Stilbaai is different from other small coastal town - it's a lot bigger and you get the feeling it's not really a holiday town, rather a "stay" town.
Sink in kitchen had leak somewhere near floor. Toilet in master bedroom leaked. People next to our drain was blocked causing a horrible smell even in our area. There is no tumble dryer. Not so well located. I think the accommodation is hopelessly overpriced for what they offer you.
Osler Place is beautifully furnished, modern, with absolutely everything you need. Clean, tidy, water in fridge, ice cubes, flashlight if power goes out, spotless lovely white linen and towels. The host and hostess really thought of absolutely everything to make our stay fantastic. Very spacious, very affordable, perfectly located. Will definitely go again and definitely recommend.
