This cottage can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms. The 2 bedrooms are each tastefully furnished with a king-size bed and have en-suite bathrooms, one fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet, whereas the other one fitted with just a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It has a central dining space and a lounge furnished with comfy couches and a TV with DStv. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
The unit opens up to the patio with outdoor seating, overlooking the 23-hectare private dam. The private dam and wetland area is home to hundreds of beautiful bird species, and wildlife such as duiker, reedbuck, bushbuck, serval, caracal, porcupine, and wild pigs to name a few.
Guests can enjoy bass fishing, birding, boating, and a picnic on the farm after a leisurely walk around beautiful Beacon Vlei. Other outdoor activities that can be arranged in the surrounding countryside include mountain biking, horse riding, canopy tours, battlefield tours and even paragliding.
