29 guests' feedbackExtremely friendly and helpful hosts. The accommodation was comfortable, and the braai area was good - particularly sheltered from the strong wind. The wind disappeared after sunset. Pleasant evening stroll on a farm track and a morning amble at sunrise at the farm dam. Braai wood burned well, and the braai pack was good. It was interesting to learn about ostrich rearing.
The silence and Karoo farm feeling is indescribable.

Aunt Annemé made so much effort to welcome us kindly. Our room and beds were already warmed and she made us feel very special. The room is beautiful and we would love to stay there again.
The unit was fantastic. It is a very beautiful Karoo farm and just what we were looking for. The fossil tour of the town that Annemé recommended is something anyone should do if they are in the area. Marinda, who hosted the tour, is passionate and has so much information that she shared with us. Definitely worth it.

We had a great time camping among beautiful trees on this beautiful farm in the Karoo. The reception and hospitality made us feel very welcome. There is a lovely pond to swim in and in the morning the rich birdsong wakes you up. The ablution hut is super clean and artistically decorated. We want to visit this loop court again!

Place was so nicely equipped with milk in the fridge, biscuits, oil, and various seasonings - it's special! Lovely walk on the farm. Braai suit and home-baked bun was a winner!

If you're looking for peace and tranquility in the Karoo, this is the place to be. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the cottage was furnished. Excellent value for money. The one regret I had, was not staying longer. One night was not long enough.

We only arrived dark, had no signal to use GPS. They waited for us, even though it was late. The detail in the decor and what was offered took my breath away. Board games, battery light in case the solar power has a problem, even a first aid kit in the drawer. Beautifully clean and neat. We really enjoyed the place - slept just one night.

Anemé and Johan are excellent hosts, and their cottage, or Klipskuur, is equipped like few others. Any possible necessities are provided and also stylishly displayed. The Karoo peace and quiet was wonderful, and the number of stars in the evening breathtaking. The beds were warm and cozy on the cold winter evening, and the fire place was lovely. Kitchen has everything you could need, with a sheltered braai area outside. We would stay again anytime. Outstanding!
It's a real gem in the heart of the Karoo, and worth taking a break at the Old Stone Barn if you've traveled that far. The hostess and host are very pleasant and take care of all your needs. They made extra effort for us so that we can barbecue.
The accommodation was great. We had a wonderful stay. The braai pack that was provided for us on request was great with delicious Karoo lamb chops. The Cloetes not only made our stay wonderful, they rushed to our aid in a crisis when my son fell off his motorcycle and broke his collarbone. Their selfless gesture restored my trust in my fellow man! I will definitely come again!
People... the place is super clean (the house and the yard) and the decor so so beautiful. Annemi and Johan are very hospitable and talk sincerely. Real Karoo farm with sheep dog and other animals that come to greet you. The birds whistle happily and playfully all the time. Everything has been thought of for your comfort. The roof fans are precisely placed so that you stay wonderfully cool and the beds sleep wonderfully. Feel free to grill your chop here. The dust path is part of the fun. Will definitely go again.
