Neat and very good taste with decor in unity. Barbecue area which everyone shares is a big bonus as it is closed as the weather has been cold and windy. Hostess helped us nicely where to go for flowers if the weather was too cold in Nieuwoudtville.
Hosts like Natasha and Danie are hard to beat. Hospitable, friendly, help where they can (even changing a wheel). The rooms are neat, clean and tasteful. The whole experience is top notch.

Even before we arrived Natasha let us know that the weather forecast for the next day was not ideal for flower viewing and she recommended that we first go to Matjiesfontein paddock where the flowers were at their best. Thank you very much for the good advice. Friendly welcome where we got further references to attractions. We were also provided with a list of restaurant options in advance. Very comfortable room with sitting area and nice lapa for visiting and braai.
What an absolute gem of a place to stay! We were informed of the local places that were open or not and treated like friends. Rooms just perfect, clean and bed comfy with lots of little extras. We will be back!

Nieuwoudtville is a very small town and although we did not have excessive expectations we were pleasantly surprised with Oudeklip. Centrally located on a very well maintained property. The room was clean, tidy, well equipped with very friendly and helpful owners. Calvinia Fleisfees was very nice, but the cold and wet weather was not ideal for flower viewing. Will have to come back for that again.

We have crisscrossed the country and have already stayed in many places. This is a very pleasant place to stay and we would love to put it on our list again as a destination.
We have stayed overnight at many places and I suspect this was one of our top 5 overnight stop guesthouses. The outdoor barbecue room has everything you need, the rooms are modern, the parking safe and suitable for a vehicle that needs high clearance. Owners are very friendly. We will definitely stop by there again.
Depending on your needs, keep in mind that it is not fully self-catering. There is a nice, fully equipped communal kitchen with an indoor braai.
Oudeklip Guest House is a very safe, quiet area and clean and tidy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay there again.
Stayed in unit 1 which has a kitchenette. Unit is very stylish, neat, comfortable, with everything you need. Host and hostess very helpful and friendly. They keep you up to date with everything that can be done in the area, which is very handy even on rainy days. Was very cold during our stay and our unit was wonderfully warm and cozy against the winter cold. Will definitely stay there again if we visit Nieuwoudtville and surroundings.

Danie and Natasha found a gem here. But it's about more than the place: Danie and Natasha are the proverbial hospitality itself - from the generous reception, the nice visit on the stoep to the delicious breakfast. It's like really coming home after a long day on the road or a full day among the flowers and then kicking off your shoes and having a blissful sit. It's a place we will definitely go back to!

Beautiful sandstone house with a very peaceful hostess. The rooms were great, clean, tidy and well equipped. Electric blankets were very nice in the cold. I recommend it with great boldness.
The owners were very friendly and quickly made us feel at home. The place is very peaceful and very nice and clean. Would stay there again if I were to go there again.
In terms of cleanliness and beauty, everything was perfect. You just expect a switch near the bed to recharge your phone. The space to be able to sit is also a problem. The table and chair are very nice, but not practical for a big man. It will also help if you can hear about meal options when you make the reservation.
