Our needs were catered for the caretakers were always coming to check if everything was fine. It was very easy to access/get hold of the assistant in case of need. Customer service was best.

Ok, but there was no hot water to bathe or shower in.
The stay was very uncomfortable. Had to share barbecues and bathrooms with other people. Very impersonal. The place is very neglected. Will not book again. The photos are misleading.

You will not find friendlier, warmer people in Oudtshoorn than at Beulah. It was great, she looked after us so well and is a really nice person. Car was also securely locked and quiet neighborhood. Thank you very much and see you again.

Yes, it's cool place but it can be better! No welcoming tea or coffee!
There were, according to the description, four rooms available and we booked all four rooms. Great was our shock when we realized we had to share the house with the manager, her mother, husband and two children. It was very uncomfortable and I would not recommend it to anyone. I feel that we were under a total false impression regarding the situation in the house. I would never have booked the accommodation if I had realized we were not going to enjoy any privacy. Homestay means you literally stay with a family in their home. Then on the way home we were also accused of breaking a chair and that we had to pay money over to have the chair repaired. I can't believe that the accommodation meets the website's standards. I will definitely be much more careful when booking accommodation in the future. I think one should at least be offered a choice as to whether one wants to share one's space with wild strangers.
