We had a wonderful stay at OuKlip Farmhouse. From the beginning to the end we received great service. The house has everything you need, it was clean and spacious. Cleaning services are also available, which helps a lot when traveling with kids. I will definitely visit again.
Friendly and helpful staff. Neat, clean, comfortable accommodation! Value for money. Owners are hospitable and very friendly. Children are 1 year and 3 years old and really enjoyed the animals, small playground and outdoor life.

If you are considering OuKlip Game Lodge as an option for a weekend away - stop! Nothing compares to this absolute gem. The tents are immaculate, and your boma 100% private. The tents are well-spaced apart, wholly private, and along the boundary fence with a view to the reserve. The host, and his lovely wife are warm, generous, and will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible stay with them. Wildlife will pop by your tent for a quick hello and maybe even a head-scratch if you're lucky. The bath is beautifully generous, with hot water provided by your dedicated gas geyser. The kitchenette is exceptionally well stocked, with anything you could possibly need. There is a little honesty-shop, complete with all the treats and spoils you can think of, alongside the essentials that may have been forgotten. The host will entertain you with little gems about nature and the bush during your game drives - well worth the very reasonable charge to have a good few giggles, and spot some wildlife along the way. OuKlip Game Lodge - you will see us again and again - a true treat!

Beautiful facilities. Our boys were at Camp Discovery and we drove in and out a lot, but it was lovely to return to our peaceful tent (which is more like a luxury cottage). We could sit on our porch and see wildlife. Fresh white bed linen and a very well equipped kitchenette. The staff are extremely friendly and I would definitely recommend the "Game Drive", which may seem expensive. The owner himself took us out and we would never have been able to gain so much knowledge of Dinokeng on a self drive.

We had a great weekend at OuKlip Game Lodge, from the easy to follow directions shared to the arranging of game drives, wood for the fires and the warm welcome from Gilbert. We loved every second, the kitchen is well appointed with everything you will need to keep the family well fed. Everything was clean and well maintained. We only had 1 issue and that was the mattress that was a little on the older side and could be replaced in the future (again this is our preference of sleeping on a firm mattress). We loved the little honesty shop, it had everything from meat, to antihistamines and souvenirs. Also the lodge has some very friendly game on the site that came to say hello around dinner time. We loved our time and will definitely be back with our family and friends.
OuKlip was a very good break from the city. Everything was clean and tidy. You felt like you were in your own private area with people far away from you.

There is certainly nothing missing at OuKlip Game Lodge. The luxury tents boast a top quality heating system for your shower and bath. The Q-size bed and linen are soft and durable, and the layout of OuKlip as a game lodge is excellent with two swimming pools and an honesty shop. For 5 days we had so much fun hanging out around the fire and looking at the stars at night, and the parents 70+ can't be talked out of it. Really nothing that would keep me back for a 3rd visit.
It's very quiet and peaceful at OuKlip Game Lodge. Goats roam freely on the premises and the place was very neat and clean. OuKlip Game Lodge fulfilled our requests and overall we had a very nice stay.

Took advantage of a special offer which definitely made it worth it. However, if I had paid full price, I would have expected the price to at least include WiFi. There are already nodes installed at each carport. WiFi is certainly no longer an expensive item these days and I think it's only fair that it's included and not offered at an extra cost. The electric geyser (tents 1 to 5) is extremely small and the water is already cold when a third of the bath is filled. The large and comfortable bath is therefore really pointless. The tents are slowly but surely starting to show their age. Didn't really bother though. One thing is certain: few self-catering accommodations are so well equipped. There is pretty much nothing that is not available. So a big thumbs up here! A suggestion is to provide lounge chairs by the pool. Many people enjoy simply lying by the pool and relaxing with a magazine/book. Sometimes you feel you are not really part of the Dinokeng reserve itself. This can possibly be attributed to the farm animals. The turkeys in particular were audibly busy.
No! Hearing goats, chickens and turkeys all the time in a game reserve simply does not fit together. And even less to lie on the roof of the tent from 3 o'clock in the morning and watch because the bunch of roosters start crowing and you make plans on how to twist their necks. So sleeping and resting is not possible, even though the bed (which is not king size as promised) and bed linen are of good quality. If the farm animals and especially the roosters are removed from the game farm, we would strongly recommend the place. The facilities are completely adequate, in working order and nicely clean. It's wonderful to have your own boma. The little shop is also an asset. Oh yes, and if you want to sit comfortably it's a good plan to bring your own camping chairs. There are also only 2 camping chairs at the tent for 4 people.
There were no communication before hand with regards to directions to the lodge. We followed the GPS and ended up getting lost as some of the roads are closed. At reception, the person checking us in forced us to commit to going on a game drive, although we said numerous times we have a full programme and do not expect to make the game drive. (At this point there was no communication that they charge to go on the game drive and that it is not a standard service). When checking out, the lady was upset as we cancelled the game drive on short notice and wanted to charge us the full rate although we did not attend the game drive - which for us was a surprise as there are no rates displayed in the office or communicated beforehand. They were just rude and unfriendly when we checked out.
Perfect for a woodland getaway. Quiet and nice in the evening to barbecue at your personal boma and listen to nature.
We had a wonderful stay at OuKlip Game Lodge! It is beautifully maintained but it still has an authentic bush feeling. You feel totally isolated from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's quiet, with lots of beautiful birds and game to view, and lovely pools to swim in. The staff are friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

OuKlip deserves 10 out of 5, not just 5 out of 5. I have never encountered such attention to detail at any other guest house or accommodation. Everything one needs and more. Not only the tents, but the whole site is painfully neat and everything more than 100% in place. Even when severe weather caused a power outage, the owners had a generator in place to provide electricity. I definitely recommend OuKlip and we will definitely visit there again. Thank you to the owners who keep their hand so nicely on the lodge to give guests a 5-star experience. Such service and hospitality are very rare these days. Thanks again!

Ouklip is - from A to Z - simply wonderful. From the reception to the "cow bay" was an extremely pleasant experience. The tent rooms are perfectly equipped, comfortable, tasteful, perfectly designed and located, with beautiful barbecue areas - all in a beautiful environment with wild animals beyond the wire. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, a wonderful bathroom (nice shower and bath), privacy, well-equipped kitchen, attention to detail, etc. We enjoyed it tremendously, and will return ANY time (it's just too bad it's so far for us Capetians, otherwise I'd be there again!).

Well equipped units and it is very rare that a two bedroom unit has its own private boma. The unit itself is also very private and one cannot look anywhere from your unit on the other units.
We had a very nice stay. The houses are far apart, each with its own braai area. Plugs we forgot for recharging phones and such were also given along with a hair dryer, which helped a lot.

To cook on a neat and fully equipped veranda with a forest view was something special. In the boma, all the barbecue tools and more are neatly spaced and close at hand. The bathroom felt like we were bathing and showering outdoors, with nice hot water and a strong current. Here you go to sleep with the smell of the forest and wake up with the smell of the forest.

Our first visit was at Ou Klip Safari Tent (2 persons) and our second visit was at Ou Klip Farmhouse (6 persons): Safari Tents as well as Farmhouse are well planned and laid out with a focus on the environment (nature/animals/birds) - the Waterholes are well placed which naturally attracted a lot of wildlife, right from the porch. The boma areas are excellently equipped and the drum design (muffler) for the fire a brilliant addition (more lodges can consider this). There are just enough tents and so it adds to the tranquility. Bos-TV is the best TV (here you can breathe), the little shop on the site is pretty much fully equipped. Our friendly host and hostess as well as the entire team on the ground are hardworking and clearly passionate and motivated in their work.

The management could make it more clear not to follow the GPS and the path the GPS takes you is apparently wrong and management was not happy about it.

The agent should warn guest that there are two gates that you will be required to call at the gate to open for you. I was lucky at the first gate there was safari van coming through and at the second gate the visitors who had already checked in used their remote to open. Contact details were provided, but my phone had died.
The place looks exactly as the pictures, actually shocked as wasn't expecting it to look so amazing. They have everything you need in the luxury tents, just bring food and your clothes.

The honesty shop is very well equipped for if you have forgotten something. Will visit again anytime. Just a feather for Ouklip Game Lodge, a stone's throw from Pretoria but still it feels like you are far from the city. Ouklip Game Lodge is like a jewel that needs to be discovered. Websites often show all kinds of promises with photos that do not necessarily always reflect the truth, but then you arrive at a place like Ouklip and everything is true and everything is beautiful. Hospitality is the first thing you notice and then comes the cremation of the tent house which is furnished and equipped with everything you need, clean and tidy and this includes the bed linen and towels, the crockery and barbecue equipment as well as the swimming pools. Our time at Ouklip was beyond all expectations better than we could have ever wished for. Ouklip can definitely be recommended. The Rautenbach's.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with kindness. The tent is incredibly neat, looked after and maintained. Everything you can think of is available. From plenty of knives, forks, cups, glasses to a pan, lunch boxes to store leftovers and cleaning products. Braai areas are cleaned every morning, firewood is delivered to the tent. The little shop has everything you need and even some souvenirs. We enjoyed it very much and rested so well. Even the little kudu goats are tame and even come to smell your hand when you decide to go for a walk. We will definitely visit OuKlip again.

It has been some time that we came across a holiday venue this clean, neat and tidy. Tent and surroundings was extremely clean and neat with nothing out of place and everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The patio was cleaned/sweeped after every rain shower. Very quiet and serene (midweek) with buck grazing between the tents. Convenient little shop for essentials and other goodies. Very friendly and efficient staff. Definitely good value for money. We will most certainly be back.

We had an amazing stay at Ouklip. Our stay however started with a flat(more ripped) tyre. We were struggling to come right with our tyre change and phoned Ouklip whom were there in 10min brought all the equipment needed and changed our tyre for us and helped us locate another tyre. This kind of hospitality does not come around often. We were very grateful to Gilbert for helping us start our holiday well and for being so helpful. Our stay was lovely, quiet and clean. We had a pool 20m away that we cool down in during the heat wave. I recommend Ouklip to anyone that is looking for a peaceful stay in a very luxurious tented camp. The Tent comes with everything you would need and more to make your stay comfortable.

The owners are welcoming and friendly. The tent is well-equipped, a lot of thought has gone into making our stay wonderful. The grounds are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Absolutely beautiful.
It was something else to stay in a tent house. Very comfortable bed and all facilities at hand. The swimming pools are conveniently close to the tents. Some of the animals were feeding around the tent in the early morning. The dirt road was a bit rough, but I drove my little Smart through it without incident. Really enjoyed the Safaris. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Now what's not to enjoy?

We booked as a three night stay to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we expected and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our children and my sister-in-law and husband joined us on the third night. There was no accommodation, and they would have to drive back first. OuKlip went out of their way to fix up a unit so they could visit and sleep over with their one year old. Our children (3 and 5) were simply disgusted to stay only 1 night. The swimming pool is ideal for them and there is plenty of cycling space. We were lucky to have very good weather - however, if it were to rain a lot it would not be ideal. I would highly recommend OuKlip. They really provide 4-star service and if you compare them to similar places near Kruger/Pilanesberg - their price is really good. Finally, we also did a game drive. Was very nice - they made an effort to show us the Big 5 as well as tell us about nature/make jokes.
Hosts are very accommodating and friendly, the units are spotless and everything you need is provided. The security is top notch and staff very friendly. We enjoyed walking around the lodge just to relax and went on a game drive with Gilbert. Got to see a lion, rhino, wildebeest, zebra, ostrich, and warthog. Would definitely go again.

There was an animal watering hole nearby that we didn't know about, so we missed lions and leopards.

The only item missing was a steel brush to clean the grill before grilling. Furthermore, Ouklip lacks nothing, thank you! The unusual and heavy rain at the weekend made it very difficult to cook with the stoep which was constantly under water. I hope they can sort it out before we go again.

Never before has a tent felt like a 5 star hotel, but here on Ouklip the experience, accommodation and scenery are five star! This is a vacation spot where I will go to rest every weekend. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The tent was clean and tidy, it was like a four star hotel. There is a lovely porch overlooking the field, we really enjoyed it. The braai area is private and clean. Your neighbor is far enough that you are completely private. We bought wood there. They even have chickens to wake you up for your safari. We had a lovely time and would go again.

The luxury tents are beautifully clean and tidy, with the living area and sleeping area spacious. Everything in the tent looks like new, the kitchen has everything you need and extra. The bathroom is excellent. We had a great time at the well-equipped braai boma. There are also 2 very nice communal swimming pools which were just the right lavenis after a hot day on a game drive. We will definitely visit OuKlip Game Lodge again.
Lovely tent homes furnished with everything you could possibly need. The little shop on site is worth its weight in gold, for that forgotten food item or two. Our 2 year old was able to play safely and really enjoyed the animals on site. See you again soon.

We really enjoyed the few nights at OuKlip - the units are delightfully private and are so much better equipped than one would expect from a "standard" self-catering facility. The chickens and goats that roam freely between the tents were a great treat for our little girl. All the staff at OuKlip are extremely helpful and immediately willing to help even with the smallest requests. Definitely a gem in Dinokeng.
If you are looking for exactly that, a relaxed and private stay in the bush with pleasantly welcoming owners and staff, that's what you'll get. Had a lovely stay and will definitely be back for another visit.

What a nice place it is! In the bushveld very close to Pretoria. Super neat with the bluest blue swimming pool. Springboks, Nyalas and Rooibos graze between the tents. Foxes come up to the border wire at night and all the night sounds remind you where you are. Here is everything you need and more for a camping experience without your own tent. We were able to go for a nice walk inside the camp and drive around the reserve and watch wildlife throughout the day. A great experience that we will definitely do again!

The swimming pool provided for fun and it is easy to do excursions in the area. Also liked the trust element, where you can take from the shop stock and trust that you will pay for it at the end of your stay.

We were welcomed by Ouklip's tame goats and enjoyed our tent stay. The first day was nice and warm and we were able to stargaze. But then we got the bad news of the fires and looting, etc. in the country and so we were no longer calm because we realized we were safe at Ouklip but wondered if we would be able to go home safely. My son suggested we stay at Ouklip. But then the cold came and then we froze because a tent at night with a cold wind blowing is not great. The gas geyser is unfortunately not a good option if you try to take a shower in freezing weather because either you burn or you freeze. We were disappointed with Dinokeng's self-drive route. It was advertised on Dinokeng's website that there were Big Five and other predators that we wanted to see. But we only saw impalas, giraffes, zebras, moose, black wildebeest and warthogs and no predators or Big Five. Ouklip is a nice place if you just want to get out of the city and rest.

The tent house really has everything you need for a peaceful visit. The goats inside the camp also create a nice woodland atmosphere. We even saw a number of animals at the water hole on the other side of the fence. We felt very welcome and at home.

This was a spur of the moment getaway, and worth every moment, so close to the city yet you feel like you're entering another world entirely. The staff and owners are wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful! We will definitely visit again!

Very nice stay and everything was wonderful. Only problem is that we drove with GPS, which takes you on a very bad road - please fix it. be sure that directions are clearly given to guests and be sure that it is highlighted not to follow the GPS.

Every little detail has really been thought of when setting up the tents. The lodge area is neat. We had no problems getting to Ouklip with a normal sedan-type car (it might be different in the rainy season). The only feedback that isn't stellar is the fact that some units are very close to the farmhouse. The sounds of the farm animals were sometimes a bit out of place in the bushveld setting, but some guests should enjoy it, so it's more about what your expectations are. We also did not have WiFi reception even though it was indicated, but the mobile phone reception is good enough if guests need to contact the outside world.
Went for safari drive but did not see much. Saw the white rhino though.

Central to do the self drive or take a game drive with the owner. Only one thing that scratched: Groups make a bit of noise throughout the night.

The braai area is also definitely a highlight. Finding the Big 5 animals in the park itself is extremely difficult, but it has nothing to do with Ou Klip.
It was the best weekend ever. The atmosphere is very relaxed, well maintained and equipped tents. The environment enables you to get in touch with nature. Evenings were filled with the sounds of African Night Owls and jackals. We were privileged to see elephants, hear the lions and hyenas.

The owners Wilma and Gilbert were incredibly helpful, especially with my 90 year old father who went along. Facilities are excellent - was a nice weekend getaway and can be highly recommended.

Ouklip is absolutely just fantastic. The weekend was the 2nd time we stayed there. Even the one night after 10 our gas was finished. One call and 5 minutes later they replaced it and the problem was solved. The service is great and everyone there is friendly. For how close Ouklip is to Pretoria and what you get for the price, I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to stay there.

You can believe all the other reviews. Ouklip is really one of the best getaways we've ever experienced in the bush. We received a warmly and kind welcome by the owners. Wilma and Gilbert are true salt of the earth people. Tents are fully equipped, very neat and well-maintained. If we are not entertained by herds of wildebeest or zebras who walked past our tent, then the lodge's njalas came to say hello. In the evenings we could appreciate the sky and all its splendour with the absence of the city lights. The game drive was extremely fun! Gilbert is a good tour guide. In the end, it remains the bushveld and people stay in a tent, but if you are prepared for it, Ouklip will be just a treat. It was an example of glamping and relaxing at its best!

The OuKlip Game lodge exceeded all our expectations. The luxury safari tents were exactly that, luxurious, clean/tidy with the most beautiful wooden furniture. Spacious enough with everything one needs to stay comfortably. Kitchen also had everything possible from microwave, large fridge and beautiful crockery and cookware. We will definitely go back to OuKlip.
OuKlip is so well maintained and the hospitality of the owner and his wife was very pleasant. The cottages are well equipped with enough kitchen accessories. The braai area was equally well equipped from an ax to braai tongs and even a shovel to move your coals around. It is definitely worth a visit and will definitely go back again.

This is 5 star accommodation in the middle of the forest and not even a far drive from the city. The service is great. My cousin and I had so much fun hanging out around the fire. The fact that each tent has its own boma is a plus. It is fully equipped with everything you need. I would 100% recommend it to anyone who just wants to go and relax in the woods.

The tent is very well equipped and you literally only have to take your food, drinks and clothes with you. If needed they have wood, fire lighters, mosquito repellent, ice, etc. available on site. On Monday night we had a heavy rainstorm and Gilbert came in the rain to find out if everything was alright. We would go back again anytime and recommend the lodge with confidence.

We visited Ouklip over the new year weekend. We wanted to escape from the New Years hustle and bustle in the city and this was the perfect place! The facilities are excellent and the tents are comfortably equipped. The outstanding feature of Ouklip is their people, Gilbert and Wilma are very hospitable. Their priority is their guests.
I can definitely recommend OuKlip, everything is there, you literally only have to take food and clothes with you. All comments are that interaction with the guests could improve a bit, I refer to the 24 hour power outage about which we got little feedback unless we asked. That said, Gilbert and Wilma are very hospitable and I would definitely go again.

A great advantage to be able to have a bush week end only and hour and a bit from Johannesburg. Tented accommodation very comfortable, clean and neat with nice boma. Service personable and efficient with a lot of attention to detail in all aspects. We enjoyed a good game drive and will definitely be back for a quick bush fix!
One amazing holiday. I booked 3 units. One for me and my family (husband and 2 kids), my parents and my parents in law. The weekend was for my husband for his birthday and what an amazing place. The units are all very private but not to far away to walk to the other one. The units has everything you need and more, just pack your bags and food. Weather is really nice and when its cold at night the boma area is there for big fires and good quality story time. I will definitely go back very soon. Units are very clean, the space is great, everyone can move around in it. Bathroom section is really huge the bath tub can fit 1 adult and 2 little kids comfortably, shower is really nice. Kitchen well equipped with what you need. They have really stayed true to the really bush camp experience with a hint of luxury.

A friend and I enjoyed our stay. The customer service was amazing so to was the facility. I would have liked to seen a little more game though. However, what we did see was awesome. I would go back.
Tents are very clean and tidy, and you have everything you need. Night noises have been an experience with lions and manatees that sound like they are next to the camp. Would have liked to see the big 5, but "luck was not on our side". Only saw rhinos and lots of goats.
The owners are really friendly and helpful. Animal life around is very rare but ensures a lovely getaway and value for money. Will visit again.

Lovely cool swimming pool, beautiful game and peaceful, cosy atmosphere.
It is optional to take half-service (dishes, R50 per day per unit), or full service (dishes + clean linen, R100 per unit per day). If you don't take it, your daily coffee, sugar, toilet paper, etc. not maintained unless you ask for it. It is not up to standard, and they are welcome to look at it. The rest was very nice, units clean, and well equipped.

We found the staff to be very rude and unwelcoming, they made me and my partner feel like we are a nuisance. We were three guests but was only supplied with two coffee sachets and it was never refilled. This is unacceptable considering that they have a policy of a minimum two night stay. The tent was really noisy when the wind blew and we could not sleep at all, so it is advisable to check the weather before booking. We were also given the wrong information regarding the game drives. The units are very neat but we will never set foot in the lodge again due to the rude service we received which was the worst we have received at any holiday accommodation before, very disappointing. Rates are quite expensive for what you receive and the rooms are not serviced, this is charged separately (something I have never experienced at a lodge). When we wanted to pay for wood with our card, the owner charged a 5% service fee (which is suppose to be absorbed by the owner of the card machine) and rudely told my partner "its not my fault you don't have cash". We do not recommend staying at Ouklip. Rather search for another lodge in Dinokeng, there are many similar types of accommodation in the area with friendly service.

Beautiful place, tents very neat and modern. Braai area very large and necessary tools were available. Kitchen area and ware only of the best quality. The management really thought of everything with little things in the tent houses that made it very special. Pool was clean and ice cold. Great getaway for families and even couples. The self game drive was fun, saw many animals except for the elephants. Having said that, a weekend is too short to drive everywhere. Management of Ou Klip was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again. Summed up in one word: Awesome!
Gilbert and Wilma are nice and friendly people. The tent is very luxurious for the bush. My wife says you can see the place has a woman's touch because everything we needed was there and it was well planned. Gilbert maintains the place by making sure everything was very tidy, clean and working as it should. Great! We enjoyed it very much and plan to visit next year.

We loved our time at OuKlip! The tent is very well appointed and spotless. There was a watering hole just outside the fence and we saw animals there quite often. The cleaning and dish washing service is extra, but we opted to do the cleaning ourselves. Myabe the owners should consider adding it to the tariff and then still give ou the option of a cleaner or not. The braai and grill were cleaned every morning, so nice.
I got engaged this weekend and chose Ouklip as the destination where I would pop the big question. The people of Ouklip are some of the friendliest I have ever met and went out of their way with all the arrangements and plans I had. After the stressful part where I was on my knees was over, the rest of the weekend was so peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place for a romantic weekend away. I would like to make this an annual getaway destination for me and my soon-to-be.

Please just get rid of the chicken that crows right through the night. It's a disturbance of the natural sounds that one expects to hear in Dinokeng. Providing earplugs is not a solution. Apart from the small problem, the accommodation and service are top notch.

We really had a fantastic stay once again! Everything was perfect. This time we just packed less luggage since you don't need anything when you stay at ouklip. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything of top quality. Was fantastic to eat breakfast on the veranda and watch how zebras, giraffes and buck drink water at the waterhole. No further than 20 m from you. Slept well and listened to the lions consume their prey at night.

OuKlip is a very neat and luxurious piece of heaven in the Dinokeng Nature Reserve. We fell asleep to the sound of lions roaring and in the mornings we were sung awake by the insects of the bushveld. It is beautiful with a stunning layout. Gladly recommend it.

Ouklip Game Lodge exceeded all my expectations. The amount of attentiont to detail in the ten units were clearly visible and breathtaking. Everything was usper neat and reception was very friendly. Everything we needed. Just bring your own food and drinks. Tent number 5 is close to the pool and has a view of the waterhole where we saw the game. The pool was spotless and we chilled peacefully in the pool while checking out the animals. It was our first time at Dinokeng and it took us a while to get used to the setup. For new visitors, you can explore the reserve in your own car. I definitely recommend Ouklip!

We had a very nice stay, nice and secluded with our one year old daughter. She was safe the whole time, far from cars and water. The deer, rabbits, chickens and pigs (that are neatly kept to one side) were also nice extras for our girl. The facilities are excellent, actually perfectly neat.

OuKlip was an adventure! We had such a good time every night and braai'd in our own boma. We looked at the stars while the lions roared and the jackals howled. The owners does everything in their power to make you feel at home. It is fully equipped and we slept warmly and cosily. To round off the weekend we saw lions hunting on our game drive while we were with Uncle Gilbert, who is an excellent guide.

It was the best weekend in a very long time. I actually have no words to describe it. Excellent service from reception to the cleaning services (The owners make you feel like family!). Had an exciting game drive where we could experience fast-catching 3 of the big 5 within meters of us. Uncle Gilbert knows the park and the animals like the back of his hand and could not have given us a better experience! The tents are amazingly located where you can watch wildlife on your front porch as they walk to the water hole, feel clean like another world! They will definitely see us again very soon.

We arrived late on the Friday evening and the owner waited patiently for us and welcomed us warmly. The tents are spacious with luxurious finishes and no detail has been spared. Privately spaced, yet close to each other if you want to hang out together. Swimming pool has a beautiful view of water hole. Tip: book tent no 4, it has a view of water hole.

Luxury permanent tent with a spacious veranda to view the bird life and if you are lucky to see wildlife. The kitchen is fully equipped, even a meat bowl and Tupperware. You can make a proper fire in the boma. We went on a game drive with the lodge. I would definitely recommend it, they know where to drive to see the most wildlife.

Clean, practical, good mattress for a good sleep, nice green grass in front of the porch, best vacation ever. The deep, large bath and open shower was a winner. Our one year old had fun playing outside. The people are so friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. When you drive there, you feel like family.
