These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower. The third bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. Both these rooms are located on the first floor and share a bathroom fitted with a shower and a bath. All linen and bath towels are provided but guests are required to bring along their own swimming towels.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a fridge, a microwave, a gas stove, and a kettle as well as a dining table with ample seating.
The third floor is perfect for entertaining family or friends and features a bar, board games, comfortable couches, and a snooker table. A scullery with a washing machine, extra freezer and tumble-dryer is located on the ground floor. For the bookworms, there is also a reading room with a variety of books to choose from.
Outside under the trees is a lovely braai area where guests can cook meals together. Firewood, within limits, is provided. There is one locked garage and secure off-street parking available. Service dogs are welcome by prior arrangements.

1 guests' feedbackOuma Joey's was the perfect location for our Otter Trail race. We could easily walk to the race village. The entertainment area upstairs was perfect for fun and laughter. We loved spending time upstairs watching the birds that frequented the beautifully cared-for garden and trees. It felt like we were in a forest. We loved our stay.

House rules
The water and electricity infrastructure in the village is sometimes under pressure, so guests should please use sparingly and bring a flashlight.Please note that parts of the house are accessible via stairs and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly or guests with disabilities.
Children must be under adult supervision at all times, especially on the balconies. Children under 12 may not use the pool table on the upper floor.
A cleaning lady comes to clean once a week and change linen if necessary.
Only guide dogs are allowed.
For information on activities and conservation projects in the area, guests can inquire with the Natures Valley Trust. They also offer educational activities in and around Natures Valley for all ages during the festive season, Easter weekend and school holidays.
A breakage deposit of R30000 is payable electronically 48 hours before arrival. It is refundable within 7 working days, provided the unit is left in a tidy, smoke-free condition, with no damage or losses.
