There is also free-standing baby camping cot available for a baby, as well as a single bed mattress for the parent with children. Furthermore, there is a sleeper couch in the TV room for an extra guest or couple to sleep on. A baby strollers to walk on the beach with or just stroll around town are available. Ouma's C Huisie is a very nice place, clean and tidy with everything you need. I would highly recommend it. Also baby friendly with a cot and a pushchair. An indoor and outdoor barbecue with a nice backyard where children can play. A garage so you can sleep peacefully, because your car is safe. Really value for money. We will definitely rent it again if we are in that part.
Yes, the house had been perfect.
It was a pleasant stay. All necessities were available. Only had a problem with mosquitoes. It was fine when the fan was on. But when load shedding started and the fan was off, the mosquitoes came out in full force. There wasn't 'Doom' or anything else to use. Other than that, it was a good stay.
We stayed 2 nights over a weekend. It's a very cute place and we had a wonderful stay. Thanks to the host for the friendly welcome and the nice chat when we left. We will definitely see you again.

Was not told how the alarm works. The geyser had not been turned on, so there was no hot water on arrival. I had to call the owner. The fridge was not switched on. For R1000 a night, I at least expected guest soap in the bathroom. There was none. Disappointing.
The garden was dirty, dusty inside. Cockroaches in kitchen. Never again.

There was only one problem with the sleeping arrangements. Teenagers cannot sleep together in a double bed. The boy had to sleep on the couch, but it was hard and uncomfortable. There was no other option and he slept uneasily for the two nights.

We had a nice stay. Place is well equipped. Would like to recommend that you perhaps provide a hairdryer. The carpet in the shower must be removed immediately. I slipped when I got in and hurt my foot. We kept sliding. Can't you plant marog so close to the door either. It stinks. Otherwise we had a very nice stay. Everyone is very friendly. Thank you.

House has all necessities. You just have to bring your food and yourself and then enjoy your stay. Due to loadshedding, I would suggest an inverter or solar power.
The cottage and service were nice. We really enjoyed it and will definitely return for a visit again. It is nicely located, quiet and safe. You will find everything you will need there. The WiFi is available but if there are too many people on it, it is a bit slow and sometimes drops out. It didn't bother us much because we made more contact with each other. The only negative thing I would is that the cleanliness could improve, I won't mention now but there was stuff lying around that belonged in the drum. Otherwise very nice. Thank you.
I never saw the owners, would love to meet them. The cleaner received us. As we were leaving I mentioned to the cleaner that they should provide for load shedding. Two candles without any candle holders are not enough. Luckily we took our own emergency light with us.

The rest has done us tremendous good. The children themselves also enjoyed it a lot. On Friday it was fantastically relaxing. The indoor fireplace/braai works fantastically, especially because it is in the kitchen where everyone can hang out and watch television at the same time. Our adults were at the wedding in the afternoon/evening and the children were safe at home, had no "worries" about being unsafe.
It was a wonderful weekend. So relaxed. The owner of the house and her help were extremely professional, competent and certainly helpful. I recommend Ouma's C Huisie to everyone! Definitely value for money. We will visit there again!
