26 guests' feedbackA lovely and quiet farmhouse, with everything you need for a very comfortable self-catering stay. The hosts are very kind and responsive. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda, and taking a walk down to the banks of the Orange River.
Good communication before arrival to make sure I find the accommodation easily. Friendly reception, neat and spacious room, lovely warm sheets for cold evenings. Clean bathroom with all the necessary facilities. Quiet farm atmosphere.
We enjoyed the house and the braai facilities. Had a pleasant walk through the farm pecan nut trees and cotton fields.

It was a lovely stay. Lovely old farmhouse, with a fantastic stoep. The rooms were cosy and had everything we needed for our stay.

Comfortable and convenient farm stay just off the N10 close to the Orange River.
Staying in Grandma's House felt like sleeping and visiting a museum. Large house with veranda all around, nice outdoor barbecue and luxury of air conditioning, and then Linda's delicious biscuits. Wi-Fi and DSTV. Could have stayed there longer.
Everything was totally fine. The hostess did warn us to bring supper as the closest places to dine were too far.
Clean and tidy. Air conditioners in most rooms for the heat.
Ouma se Huis is situated in a beautiful serene garden with lots of birds.
Neat, hospitable farm accommodation with easy access from the national road. All facilities of good standard and plus are generator which eliminates load shedding.
House is comfortable, has everything you need. We slept great.
We had a great time at Grandma's House. The house takes you back to your visits to your own grandma and grandpa. The atmosphere of the house was "priceless". Delicious barbecue, warm bedding and incredible hospitality.
The farmhouse is very well furnished and has everything you need. The sunset was breathtaking. We love the antiques in the house.
The hostess and her husband received us well and were very helpful. Place is neat and well appointed, very safe and quiet.
Lovely for a one night stay over. Linda was very friendly and helpful.
Ouma se huis is a very lovely old farmhouse with lots of interesting stuff around every corner. The facilities were great and we really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at Grandma's House for three nights and it could easily have been a week, then we would have been satisfied. A beautiful and well maintained old farmhouse just far enough from the main road to be private but not too far to get there easily. Kobus and Linda were wonderful hosts and we feel like we just made new friends. Thank you for all the small details such as the delicious biscuits as well as the tea, coffee and farm milk. The house is particularly well equipped and we had a good time in the cozy kitchen even though it was colder than we expected for the Northern Cape. Don't make this farmhouse just an overnight destination. Drink in the peace and quiet and walk down to the Orange River. What a privilege to stand and look at the Great River and our bonus was a goose with 6 young on the river. For townspeople, Ouma's House is very special and we will think and talk about our stay there for a long time.
Bedroom windows without mosquito netting. So had to sleep most of the night with noisy air conditioning because windows could not be opened.
Great packing place for a half way stay. The antiques are special. Can definitely recommend it.
Friendly reception, very tidy, well equipped, value for money.
We had a lovely stay at Ouma se Huis. Everything was nice and clean and dinner was very nice after a long day of travelling. Everything was there that you needed and the old house has an exceptional atmosphere.
