Tannie and oom are such nice people and extremely friendly. Oom even entertained our son whenever they saw each other. Easy location to get to and not far from Dullstroom. We will definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay, it's really a lovely place, well located, safe and clean farm. Just what the soul needs to switch off.
We had an amazing stay at Ouma-se-Huisie. Situated on a farm, really beautiful surroundings whilst not being too far out of town. The hosts were extremely hospitable, providing lots of comfort items such as blankets and firewood. We felt so welcome and definitely plan to come back.

We had an amazing time. The place is more beautiful and bigger in photos. The closed glass deck was incredibly nice in the evenings for braai or in the mornings for sunrise. The chickens' waking crow in the morning and the sheep grazing in front of the house made me feel right at home. We even spotted small game such as divers early in the morning. Hospitality was so pleasant, we could probably have spent hours just with them and talking. My boyfriend and I almost fought over who sleeps in front of the indoor fireplace, it's so nice and cuddly.
Terribly cute place for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed it very much. We wish we could have stayed longer and used the stoep and braai area more.
All good, very accommodating hosts. Due to a complete power outage, we made use of their freezer facilities.

Nestled on a quiet farm, with only the baa of sheep and a rooster alarm in the early hours, your time in Ouma-se-Huisie will not be forgotten soon. Our caretakers were spectacular hosts, nothing was amiss. Carefully thought of our every need and more. Comfy beds and electric blankets, rusks, firewood, and the most spectacular views for an evening sundowner. Ouma-se-Huisie will not disappoint. Our stay was peaceful and allowed us to simply breathe. Highly recommend this little gem. Thank you, Ouma.
Very nice house and so peaceful with the animals around you. Best view in the evening on the moon and the blankets on the porch is a winner. Nice big fish caught. Thank you Hetta and De Wet for your hospitality.
Had a really great stay. Hetta and De Wet are wonderful caring hosts with a great personal touch. Unit well appointed. Nice setting. Lovely dams - some big trout. Easy road access for low clearance vehicles. Within 15km of Dullstroom. Nice walks with lovely scenery. Will return soon.
