It was a privilege to be able to stay so close to the sea. Heard the ocean's symphony all day. Beautiful. Everything was pretty clean. We lacked nothing. The fact that there is no WiFi will be a problem for some people. It didn't bother us.
Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Place was very neat and clean. Owner is also very friendly and told us about activities in the town. Even gave us extra freezer space at her house for the pike we bought. Really recommendable.
Excellent unit, view, safe and quiet. Everything you need is there. The indoor braai came in handy with the cooler evenings. I will definitely stay there again. Nice and spacious. Value for money.

This place is fantastically located, you can hear the sea all the time when you are there. I can highly recommend it.
Elmarie received us kindly and was very helpful with directions etc. There was even wood available if we wanted to use the indoor braai, which is based on an honesty basis.

Very nice stay at Ouma See, friendly people, safe living area, perfect location, very close to the sea and within walking distance of shops. Everything was just very nice, would recommend it anytime. Will visit Ouma See again in the future. The place is perfect, very neat, clean and just nice to stay in, you don't need anything more.
Best location to be able to witness the wonders of the sea from inside or outside, definitely I will use Ouma See again and may have to install WiFi in the near future as well.
The cottage is well furnished with everything needed. The agent received us very kindly and was available if we needed anything. We had a great stay and would recommend it to visitors.
Owner just has to throw something in the drains. There was a nasty smell coming out of the kitchen and bathroom.
DSTV stopped working and it could not be restored. Lady asked why we don't walk on the beach, when we complained about DSTV. Unfortunately my wife picked up a stomach virus so we couldn't do much. Dame then suggested that we use another guest house, but we didn't feel like it under the circumstances. Other guesthouses in the same price range were better value for money.
Will never use Ouma see again. Reception was very unfriendly and we were told that no parties were allowed. The geyser should be turned on 2 hours before the shower and then turned off again. During our previous visit to Ouma see, our friends dropped in, without notifying the owner, and as a result we were over looked because of our skin color. The friends were from Lambertsbaai and did not spend the night there. I also heard from previous guests about their stay there, and their rules were not so clear to us. We stayed at Happy Nest at the end of October and the owner was very friendly. We booked for 5 people and she even gave me the key to the apartment even though we didn't book and didn't use it. At Ouma see there was no bedding on the beds in the other room, which was very unpleasant. I will never use her services again.
Ouma See is a small cottage with uninterrupted views of the sea. It was wonderful to gaze out of the window or from outside and watch the sea, whales, birds. We had had a sudden change of plans, so our request for accommodation was late - and we were so grateful that we could be accommodated.
Ouma See's location is fantastic. We had a wonderful stay. The fireplace and barbecue in the cottage are wonderful, we enjoyed it immensely. Everything is there that is needed for the time you stay there.

The house is beautifully and tastefully furnished, just enough of everything. My husband and I had such a good time we didn't want to go home after three days - next time we will visit longer. It was lovely to sit and watch the sunset from the couch in your living room at night. An absolute gem.

Nice cool house, I get hot soon. Actually too big for 2, but extra space made for nice space. Great to be able to enjoy sunsets from home!
The bathroom was very old and I think that is why there is no photo of it in your add. The same applies to the kitchen. Need attention. No tea sugar milk sachets. Only coffee. No welcoming chocolate on pillow. Only 1 bedside lamp and none in second bedroom lounge and dinning area was nice. House atmosphere is missing something.
The stove is not in good condition, the bathroom needs attention, the equipment in the kitchen needs upgrading.
Amenities not up to standard.
Beautiful location, but cottage is unkempt and neglected. Geyser was lukewarm and we were asked to turn geyser on and off. Inappropriate!
Bedding is clean and the double bed in the master bedroom sleeps wonderfully.
Having a good time and relaxing. The beggars are a bit of a problem, but by no means put us off. Ouma See offers everything you need. Would definitely recommend and go there again.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully furnished and all the equipment in the house is in good working order. Very spacious rooms. The house is close to the sea and you just walk across the street and you are at the sea, rocks and beach. It's also very close to the shops. The view from all the rooms is breathtaking. There is also a veranda with a braai and sea view.

Ouma See was the perfect place for our West Coast holiday. We could visit all the villages along the coast during the day, as well as the Sederberg and sit back in the evening and have a barbecue with the most beautiful sea views. The restaurants in the Lamberts Bay area are also excellent.

The open plan sitting and dining room/kitchen and front door windows look out onto the pavement. Hawkers were eager to offer their wares. It made a nice stay frustrating. We realize the owner can't do anything about it. A light behind the house where your car is parked urgently needs a light.

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at Ouma See. The accommodation is located in small, renovated house directly across the road from the sea. Everything was neat and tidy and the rooms facing the sea have large windows to take in the views and enjoy the afternoon sun. Parking was secure behind a high fence.

If you just want to relax and recharge your batteries, this is just the right place. The sea view was fantastic. Here you get some of the tastiest food in the restaurants and for fast walkers it is a safe place. Many places in the area to visit.
The unit is unfortunately on a fairly busy street corner which therefore brings a lot of pedestrian and road noise during peak holiday times. The unit is also very "minimally" equipped. As a vacationer, I would like to have a dishwasher as well as a bigger stove at my disposal, not every day is eaten out with every meal. A DStv hotel package would also be recommended. Families with children / teenagers will definitely appreciate it.

Mattress cover was dirty and had an odour of sweat. Some of the DStv channels advertised were not available (M-Net +SS).
Problem with people begging for food and money at sliding door entrance. Also, security bars in front of the windows facing the sea so that it can be open.
We enjoyed our stay in Ouma See. It has an ocean view and you merely have to cross the road to get to the beach. The rooms were clean with fresh bedding, ideal for a family of 4. Would love to return.
