The area boasts beautiful hiking and cycling trails, golf courses, fishing spots, sporting activities, and a nature reserve with stunning scenery. There is a botanical garden in nearby Betty's Bay as well as an entire beach full of penguins to observe.
Kleinmond is about 90 km east of Cape Town, between Betty's Bay and Hermanus. From June to November, Southern Right Whales can be seen from the coastline where they come to mate and calf.

Disappointed with the breakfast as it was advertised as B&B. Yoghurt and muesli are not breakfast due to the fact that not everyone eats them. Reception was hospitable!

Ice cold water with a lemon slice on arrival after a hot, tiring ride: refreshing and thoughtful.
The reception was warm. The room is beautiful, with everything and more that one needs. Sorry it's not a bit closer to the beach, but we would stay there again anytime. We were surprised with even yogurt in the fridge, which we did not expect at all. Truly an old ass place.
