The apartment was safe, our car stayed overnight in a garage, the owner had large freezer facilities as we were traveling with raw meat, the room was well appointed, and there was a safe garden where our puppy could run around. The hostess was very helpful and friendly.

Got Press Room. Very small, but neat and clean, and all the treats are available. Jeanine took very good care of us, and we were able to rest wonderfully. Bed was comfortable and it's perfect for a one night stay. The biggest bonus was the lock up garage for our vehicle. There is definitely peace and quiet.

Neat and peaceful place but room has no windows only a sliding door and the place was extremely hot, there was a standing fan and roof fan but for that type of heat it was unbearable.
Reception was friendly and parking safe. The doors only open a quarter of the way then it hits the bed. The place is too small for a double bed but a single bed can work. Bathroom door has a loose mirror and wants to fall off if you touch the door. On arrival place full of bugs.

Room is a bit small, but they are friendly and could tell me the history of the town and tell me where the nice places to visit are. There was a good selection of coffee and enough blankets for the terribly cold winter and a heater.

Of my arrival at Out of Africa was just a special moment. Room was clean with clean bedding. The view of the mountain from the bathroom is breathtaking and the owner makes everything special with her bubbly personality and personal attention and a lot of effort.

For a night's rest it was pleasant.
The place is in shambles and shouldn't be advertised. The price is ridiculous. The toilet isn't working. The kitchen facilities are fenced with mesh wire that looks worse than a chicken coop. Poor facilities. The bedding was very old and dirty. The bathroom is dirty with open bottles of soap and shampoo. The room is advertised for 4 people, but it's barely big enough for 2. Very bad experience for the price.
The room was compact, tidy, good value for money. Janine is a very hospitable person. I felt at home and very safe. The only aspect I did mention was the possible installation of a mesh door to keep midges and mosquitoes out and still be able to keep the door open. I will definitely stay there again.
We had a good stay and the accommodation is of the cheapest in Colesberg. The only negative thing is that the room is a bit small. If you are only staying overnight the small room doesn't matter.
The accommodation was okay for a one night stay over. I would have preferred not staying in the main house although we were private.
No place to hang clothes - all the closets are locked. Just one bed lamp. Bathroom door's lock only works sometimes. Electric blanket's controls are directly underneath your shoulders on both sides of the bed. Not really private - part of a house.
