The living area opens onto a stoep that overlooks the garden and braai facilities. Guests can also relax on the top floor balcony, which has a partial sea view and a view of the surrounds. Outback Inn is 900 m from the Stony Point Penguin Colony, and approximately 2 km from the swimming beach, Silver Sands Beach. Betty's Bay offers various activities such as sandboarding and hiking, as well as various attractions; the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens, and the Disa River Waterfall.
No loud parties will be tolerated by the neighbours. Please be respectful of the house rules and regulations.

Beautiful house with many bedrooms, indoor and outdoor barbecue and enough showers and toilets for a small army.

The owner Pippa immediately came to empty her fridge for us, but she will have to get a new fridge. Also a bigger oven for the amount of guests would be good. The drain will need to be completely vacuumed before new guests move in. Just 1 day after we arrived, the toilet overflowed. The WiFi didn't work most of the time.

Furniture is old. No Wi-Fi. No DStv. Toilets do not flush properly. Stinky smell in the kitchen. Dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher.
The reception was good. The house is located in a good area. We also felt safe with the children playing outside.

The house and garden is nice and big and have enough space for a number of people. It was great to be able to all sit at one table to share meals and play games. However, it did not seem ready to receive guests. There were no towels out for us to use and we had to search for them. The general cleanliness of the whole place was fine but we had to wash the dishes in the kitchen before using them and the insides of the cupboards did not look great. There are also old dirty pillows above cupboards in plain view which makes you wonder about the pillows on the beds. I don't travel with handsoap and there were no little soaps provided to just wash hands and not all of the bathrooms had toilet paper, those which did only had a little bit. It just didn't make the best first impression. The kitchen only has a small countertop oven and stove and a gas stove, however not all the plates on the gas stove work. The shower door in the downstairs shower catches on the tile and could be dangerous as the glass could shatter. Overall it was a lovely stay but with a few improvements, it would have been better.
I will recommend Outback Inn any time!

I was not informed about the electricity that needed to be topped up for the duration of our stay. We were also told that we should put outside light on as people sometimes steal petrol from vehicles.
House too incomplete. There is enough space and sleeping place, but it was very unprofessional, because you pay for a whole house, but then there are still things of the owner there and certain cupboards are locked. The fans were very dirty and some toilets smelled. They can please cheer up a bit and please work on their cleanliness.
The photos gives you a thorough idea of what to expect. It is really a lovely house with extras. We as a group enjoyed it. It is is a perfect place to break away for a weekend. I will definitely recommend the house.
Thank you so much to Sue and Alex for making our stay memorable. It was such a beautiful view, and the kids loved every minute. Highlight was definitely the Table tennis matches. Affordable and definitely worthwhile.

Outback Inn accommodated our large group of adults of all ages, with ease. It was well-equipped, comfortable and a happy family holiday home. Definitely a place we will return to. Easy walking distance to the beach and penguins. Only negative was a smell of sewerage in some of the bathroom. The smell came up through the shower outlet and basin overflow opening.
