The location and establishment is something beyond extraordinary. Photos do not do it justice; you have to be here to appreciate it. The staff and PH guys also make you feel at home. Upon our arrival we were already in rapture with the incredibly beautiful view from the wooden deck. Our room was spacious and tidy, and our coffee station was replenished every day with coffee/tea/sugar/milk. The food from the restaurant was also delicious. But it's the staff at Outspan Safaris who deserve the biggest kudos - they made sure everything was fine during our stay and went out of their way to make us feel welcome!
Very neat accommodation in an excellent location.
We had a sleepover on a very long journey and it was so much more than we expected. Extraordinary cliff site with tree dassies, good birding and a pool. We traveled on through the Transkei refreshed, after a good breakfast and a peaceful, comfortable stay.

Every aspect of the stay was beyond expectations. There was dinner and breakfast available - it was delicious. The view was absolutely stunning, the rooms spacious and it was an incredibly nice experience.
It was very pleasant for me to book at a place that does cater for singles. I also really enjoyed the massive beautiful nature scenes. It's in the mountains and the fog came in and it was just fairytale beautiful! Andrew they didn't faff the whole time because I'm single, they showed me the place, gave me keys and left me and that's worth its weight in gold for a single person because we want to do our own thing when we break away.
Unfortunately it was really dirty (we suspect the bed linen and towels are not washed between guests and the communal kitchen was unusable). Despite a beautiful view, we cannot recommend it.
No acquaintance with owners has been. Not at all worth sleeping over one night for the money paid. Will not use Outspan's accommodation again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the lodge. As there were no other guests we had the entire lodge to ourselves. The lodge was clean and well located to make use of the lovely views. Thank you.
