What a beautiful, homely, splendid cottage! Would love to stay there again! The view is a great plus as well. It is a jewel!
One night was too short! It's now a place where we will be able to saddle up permanently. The cottage offers privacy, one of the best views and has everything you need to relax. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved this cottage, so much so that I could actually live here! Elegantly decorated, secluded yet secure, and sweeping ocean views!
It's a very quiet place, you don't have any noise and it's very private, you can charge your batteries here. Best bed ever with a beautiful view of the sea and forest. Lots of birds and silence when you sit on the deck. Recommendation: The deck has sun all day, maybe they can cover a section with shade net.
Very close to town but has the feeling of being in the country.
A perfect break-away destination. Close to everything you need and a view to die for. Everything we needed in its place with a very friendly welcome.
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again. It's such a cute little place. The room and linens may just need a bit like a cream and linen spray, as the damp weather and old furniture give off a strange smell.

The cottage overlooks a valley and is very peaceful, with a lovely garden and rich birdlife. We had everything we needed and our host, Jill, was nearby for contact if necessary. A special place - we'll definitely be back!

Bed is too hard for my liking and woke every night with extreme lower back pain.
Cottage is close to great restaurants. Try these: For breakfast - The Grass Roof (farm-style eatery set in a beautiful garden). Cocktails lunch/dinner - Barnacles (lovely sea-view).
It was absolutely lovely to stay there. It has a romantic and homely atmosphere. The shower also has a beautiful extension. Will go again for sure!
What a gem. I can recommend Over the Edge to anyone. It is beautiful enough for the ideal honeymoon destination too. Close enough to the city center to do activities, but also far enough to take in the scenery. The unit's power was off when we got there, due to a tree fell on the cables and the hostess, Jill, was fantastic in dealing with it.
My young son and I stayed over a long weekend. Loved sitting on the balcony looking out at the sunset on the ocean or drinking tea in the misty mornings listening to the loeries. Easy drive to Sardinia Bay Marine Reserve's beach. My only critique is that the bed is very very firm and the ocean air had left sticky residue on surfaces and utensils.
Unit is equipped with only the basic necessities. Braai facilities must improve. Roof over outdoor area in case it rains. A roof fan is recommended. Some of the bedding was stained. Only one set of towels was available. Too little space to hang the wet towels.
Very nice cottage. Unfortunately the day we were there it was extremely windy so we didn't get to appreciate the deck but the view would be lovely on a nicer day. Jill was very kind and helpful.
Over The Edge Cottage is very cute and comfortably furnished. My husband and I really enjoyed our peaceful getaway, and will definitely visit here again.

It's the most beautiful view of the sea. Love the cool climate and the porch that overlooks the sea. The bed that is across the sliding door and looks out to sea is also a bonus point.
This place is unbelievably beautiful. It's tucked away with trees and you feel like you're in your own little world. The view from bed is incomparable. All the little details of it made it feel very homey. Relaxing, tranquil and amazing experience! I rate 5 stars and would absolutely go again!
