The property is quite remote - something to keep in mind if you have teenagers in the house. They will not be close to the hustle and bustle of Hermanus. But if you are after peace and quiet, this is ideal! Such a beautiful view over the lagoon and the mountains to the back. The kitchen has 2 fridges which came in very handy - one for drinks and one for food. There is also a small swimming pool as you walk down to the lagoon. The water pressure in the showers isn't great but I suspect it has to do with the location. I would suggest to the owners to put a fan in every bedroom and provide washing line pegs. Most of the pots and pans also need replacing but for the rest - we loved it!
Amazing view especially from the deck, super comfy beds, and the unit has a great ambiance!
A spacious house with all amenities, especially the dishwasher was much appreciated. It would be good to have some battery power for when there is load shedding, especially for the WiFi.
We enjoyed our stay, space and facilities for all our needs. Just hope we can arrange a longer period next visit.

We adored the view, and we're so grateful for the fireplace and hot water bottles! A lovely touch on the beds. The kitchen was kitted out with everything that we needed and two fridges were ideal as well for plenty of bubbly and beers. The silence is peaceful and secluded enough to play some music and have a little bit of fun. Would definitely visit again! Thank you!
A spacious, well-appointed house with beautiful views out over the lagoon. It's a quiet location away from the busy centre of Hermanus, yet with everything close enough. Natalie is an absolute star, managing our stay in the most friendly and efficient way. Thank you, Natalie.

Spacious accommodation in a lovely location, hosts were accommodating, responsive and helpful.
Picturesque surroundings and location. Perfect to hang out with friends for a weekend and rest.
Spectacular sunrises and sunsets viewed from a large patio. House has all you need. Safe very small estate on lagoon. Watch all the watersports on the lagoon. Only 10 mins drive into Hermanus or Stanford, location is superb. The only downside was the mattresses on the single beds you could feel the springs so we had to sleep on blankets to make them more comfortable. However we would go back in an instant. Birdlife is excellent.
If I may suggest, interior needs paint.
Beautiful spacious house with a wonderful veranda and view of the river. Quiet and the swallows on the porch were a bonus. We didn't find the promised flashlights and would suggest that the kitchen get a few extra items like an egg spatula and some sharp knives. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay, thank you very much.
We really enjoyed the weekend at Lagoon View. The house is very well equipped, we even got a few bags of wood when we arrived. The house was clean and tidy. Beautiful view of the lagoon. I would recommend some sharp knives as well as an ice bucket. Other than that, everything was 100%. Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend.

My family and I loved staying here! We went for long walks, swam in the lagoon and in the sparkling pool! Every evening was spent on the beautiful deck, watching the sun set, followed by the best star gazing experience we have ever had! We loved this house and would recommend it to anyone!
Lagoon View is a spacious home with a lovely porch that lends itself to long, lazy walks around the dinner table and in the fresh air. The shared pool is a win, close enough to the house but not too close to be a danger to small children around the house. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. All the rooms have lovely exterior doors. One can simply see that the owners love that environment very much. Definitely worth it!

We went to Lagoon View with my elderly parents and we had a wonderful weekend despite the stormy weather. Would love to visit again in summer when we can take advantage of the lagoon location. The house was well equipped and we were able to celebrate my father's 80th with a small gathering - there was plenty of seating. Thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
Very nice stay and visit at Overberg Gems - Lagoon view. The area and view from the house is something special. The house's layout is lovely and gives a homely feeling. There was wood and ice in the house upon arrival. The tranquility of the surroundings did our whole family a lot of good. Will definitely want to visit again.

Very nice spacious house. No problem for normal people. Beautiful view. Have a nice visit home. No disaster for wheelchair at front door. No place to put anything down in first bathroom. Bathrooms do not have arrangements for people in wheelchairs to pull themselves up, or help. Wheelchair does not fit in near toilet. The person in the wheelchair was very inconvenient with bathroom and front door entrance.
The children enjoyed swimming in the lagoon and then the pool, which is so close to the house. We think over Christmas it might get a lot busier and noisier, which would not suit our needs, but over a non-holiday weekend it was peaceful and relaxing.
Thank you to Natalie and Kevin for creating this little haven. I actually do not even want to tell people because I want to keep it a secret haha. It's a beautiful setting with amazing views. Will certainly be back and family enjoyed it especially the splash pool near the owners jetty. Will have to come back but will make sure to bring boat with. Quite peaceful and everything you need away from home.
We spent a long weekend at Lagoon Views - what a blissful few days. Loved the location, lagoon views for days, a warm fire at night, the house is very well kitted out and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This weekend was one of the highlights of my mom's life! All five of her adult children were able to gather from corners of the globe and celebrate her 80th in comfort. Lagoon View is a beautiful house and we spent quality time together without getting under one another's feet. We enjoyed the communal pool and surrounds and hope to visit again.
Spiderwebs in chandeliers, spiderwebs everywhere, shower upstairs blocked en doen't run properly, carpets dirty especially underneath, linen old and hard, not ironed, washing hangs in the rain 2 days on the line! Most expensive house rent of our trip, looked very promising on the pictures but was not wat we expected!
