22 guests' feedbackWe had a great stay. The highlight was the spacious and well-kitted-out kitchen with a large table we could kuier around until late. Very close to restaurants and the Saturday market (walk) and short drive from the brewery and wine farms. Will come again, thank you.
Very neat and spacious, with a very good location - walking distance from the center of town. Well equipped as self catering. Large garden with outdoor barbecue facilities and secure lock-up parking. Had a great time at home.
We had a great time in the heart of Stanford. The house is located within walking distance of everything. It is well equipped and very cozy. All improvements we would like is that the window in one room was open because it was painted over, so the window couldn't close at all in the freezing weather at night. Nevertheless, we would like to visit here again. Very cute and spacious accommodation!
Very relaxing, quiet - a must stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a stressful life.
Overberg Gems - The Blue house is a very nice place to stay, could do with a bit of more upgrading in furniture specifically lounge suite, TV. More plants or fresh flowers and curtains, but we loved the stay. Thanks.

The blue house was very nicely furnished for two families. The 4 children under the age of 10 loved the 'bunk beds'. The fireplace and braai facilities kept us warm on a cold weekend. Beautiful village!
Good: great location and very informative booklet. Back patio and garden wonderful in the mornings and evenings and short walk to good dining. Felt safe. Could be better: coffee cups chipped, easy aid to the alarm workings would be useful, had some beggars try the front door, might become more of a problem in future, mosquitos, not all windows close properly.
We enjoyed the house and the village very much! The house has everything you need. And the feeling of home puts you back in your grandmother's house. The nicest hiking trails right there! And it's very close to Hermanus.
What a lovely visit! We relaxed, walked the town and enjoyed every moment! Thank you very much! The house is beautiful and we felt safe and could even set the alarm when we went for a walk (not that I think it would be necessary - but we did) the kids had a blast! It's a cozy house, the fireplace was burning, we hung out around the kitchen table and really enjoyed every moment! Will definitely come again! Thank you very much!

The Blue House is very unique and creates the feeling of a farm holiday. The house has a nice and spacious kitchen and dining table for sit-down meals and board games with the children. The yard is also nice and big enough for the children to play to their heart's content. We had a nice barbecue and spent time around the picnic table on the porch.
It is a house with a lot of character and everything you need for a nice break.

This perfect house for a wonderful weekend with friends - hours around the table in the kitchen and on the back porch, and in the evening in front of the fireplace. The Blue House is beautifully restored and very well (and with quality) equipped; very glad it was our base to discover and get to know the town better than our usual quick pop in and stop/walk down the street during our annual seaside holiday in the area. Thank you for the privilege and wonderful experience.
Stanford is definitely the place to slow down time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The accommodation was very comfortable and I can definitely recommend it for families with children or just a break that is needed.
Well kitted beautiful home within walking distance to quaint little shops and great restaurants. BBQ in the lovely garden or light the indoor fire to keep warm on chilly nights. Lots of games to play and the extra outdoor shower is a treat.
