We had an inquiry about the rugby, he did everything he could to make the DStv available to us, unfortunately 30 minutes before the rugby there was a problem with the channel. On recommendation, we could watch the rugby close to our accommodation. Although we couldn't watch the SA vs Wales match at the guest house, we appreciated his willingness to help. He was very pleasant and receptive.
The only issue I had was that I could not watch DSTV.

Overmeer is the typical 4-star guesthouse. The building and amenities are as the photos show. However, what I remember about our stay is the service: the staff on duty during our stay were fantastic. I also remember being pleasantly surprised by the fragrant breakfast. Definitely recommend.
We will stay here again. Away from the busy streets. Clean and fresh. The breakfast is delicious and there is something of everything to eat. I like the rooms and bathrooms. Thanks for the hospitality.
Everything was excellent, we feel there was not much if any difference between the rooms and the service. We booked the honeymoon suite but no bathrobes were provided, it was the honeymoon suite so we expected bathrobes. Maybe just one proposal: offer newlyweds the option of having breakfast in the honeymoon suite. Delicious breakfast, by the way.
I would definitely recommend Overmeer. Value for money. Very clean and neat. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bonus.
We had a nice time. The staff didn't do anything wrong but I think they could just smile, looks like they've been taught not to smile. We stayed in room 4L, the bed's mattress was pathetic, if you lay on the mattress for a while, you sagged like that, you struggled to get out of the hole.

Relaxed, friendly, quiet, and safe environment with a breathtaking view.
My stay was enjoyable and very peaceful. The honesty bar was truly a hit. The breakfast was good. When we got to the rooms after breakfast, they were already cleaned and the beds made. Just be prepared for steep hills if you go there. For a Free Stater who is used to plains, it was an experience to ride out on the hills!
We had a wonderful overnight stay. The staff is friendly, and the room is clean and tidy with good linen. We will stay there again!
