Clean overnight place. Just be aware there are cats that live in the house too. My husband and daughter are allergic to cats so this was a problem. There is room for 4 but only 2 forks to eat with.

The unit is very luxuriously equipped, very neat and clean. Absolutely no fault with the accommodation but a serious problem with the location and view. Although the house is located right across the lake with the mountains in the background, we realized to our shock and dismay that we were staring at a then overgrown palisade fence at the front of the house. Even if there wasn't a palisade fence, we would still be facing a large dirt bank of the lake and certainly not over the lake (which was our deciding factor for this accommodation). The owners who stay on the upper floor must have this view from their accommodation and certainly not the guests who stay on the lower part of the house. As for the braai area at the back of the house, it is also between overgrown hedges whose roof is completely covered with shade netting. Absolutely no view of any of the misleading photos posted. We couldn't even see the mountains as they were overgrown with plants. We were also kindly requested upon our arrival by the owner to move the braai if we wanted to braai so that none of the plants would be damaged and we were too afraid that the shade net stretched over the back part could be damaged with the braai. In my opinion, it is very limited in the back part of the yard and is definitely not suitable for braai facilities. When we left, the owner mentioned that she wanted to have more photos of the then snowy mountains posted on LekkeSlaap, which would cause a further misperception of the accommodation to future vacationers because, again, it is only a view that the owners the upper floor of the house can see and certainly not enjoy the guests who stay in the lower part of the house. This accommodation may be suitable for business travelers but certainly cannot be recommended for holidaymakers.
