Staff is excellent. Owner can be proud of them. Everything was very neat, clean and peaceful. Maybe just put in a little gas for load shedding.
Stay was good. The sliding door does not lock from the inside. Soap in the shower would be nice and some tea bags in the kitchen.
It was a very good stop on the way to Richmond.
No cleaning service on weekends, no clean towels and no refilling of coffee and sugar.
Our short stay at Overnight @ Prieska was only spoiled by the Loadshedding. Fortunately, the place has enough power for lights and the Wi-Fi, which helps a lot. I would suggest that the owners only communicate the loadshedding schedule with the guests. Furthermore, it was a very nice, tidy and very comfortable place to stay.

Stayed one night on Prieska. Had a wonderful stay. Very neat and clean. Very spacious. Had everything in the unit that would be needed for the stay. We could visit, barbecue and have a good chat with the owners. It is a bit cold now, but I believe in summer months you will be able to swim too. I love the place.

The room was very small and I think it's quite expensive for such a small room. If I have to stay in Prieska again I will book the cottage for the same price. Amenities are very nice, it's clean and tidy with easy reception. We were also under the impression that it was a self-catering unit, which is not quite the case. For example, there is no sink and soap to wash dishes.

This unit is not at all comparable to the internet photos. The carpets are filthy dirty. The door doesn't close. The wardrobe doors can't close. The unit is very warm even with air conditioner. No dish soap or dish towels are provided. The refrigerator's doors do not close properly. The paint shells off the walls. The bathroom door is filthy dirty.

Our host was very friendly and welcomed us. The accommodation was very neat and we lacked nothing. The keys were handed to us and arrangements were made as to what to do with the key when we left. Our children could stretch their legs on the grass and we slept well. Mattress and bedding were good and bath amenities well provided. I would definitely recommend the accommodation.

The rooms are equipped with everything needed for an overnight stay. Even ice in the freezer. Because it's very hot there. The people in the town are very friendly and helpful. Overnight @Prieska's owners were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you very much, we drove far that day and had a good night's rest to be able to drive on to Namibia.

This delightful wooden house contained all we required for our overnight stay.
Prieska is a village with a mythical past and a mysterious future (if one wants to believe the words of Siener van Rensburg). It is also just as nicely situated to stay for a night when you drive to the Augrabies from the Cape side. The village is small and if you find a place to lie down, you have to take it. Overnight@Prieska can fulfill the desire. Yes, it is a guest house that still needs to be developed, but until Prieska becomes a tourism mecca, the basic necessities are good enough in a guest house of this nature. If you are a traveller, like the author, who doesn't need a lot then you can just come and knock here.
It was okay, but very basic. Clean and neat, but would love to have had Kyk-NET. And would have like milk for coffee after the long trip from Prieska. But I would stay here again.
